Well built, but not intimidating, Johan gives off the constant appearance that he can be trusted, that he has it all under control and knows what to do, even if that is not always the case. Other Special Features: Personality: Johan loves his music, but he loves his philosophy more. A true philosopher at heart, Johan always has a good read in his bag, accompanying his journal. Johan is very stoic, and quiet when need be, but can also step up and be a leader if necessary. Quite the academic, Johan views his mutant ability as a curse most of the time, though he has accepted it and vowed to use it for good use. Many times Johan caught cursing his great fighting ability and the ability he has to use his mind in ways others can only dream of. Johan is allied only to good, and what he believes in. Weapons: 1 Plain sword History/Background: Johan was born to a minister in America. He was always a free spirit, much to the dismay of his quiet father. Johan discovered his talent at a very early age, though he could only keep the secret for three days before his father found out. At the age of five, Johan was shipped away to a mutant school in Spain. It was at this small, unknown school in the Spanish mountains that Johan was taught to harness his amazing power. Johan excelled in all of the subjects taught at this school, and at the age of 14 felt as though he was ready to explore the world. He back-packed away from the school at in the dead of night, and was lost in the wilderness for 8 days. When he finally emerged in Barcelona, he lived on the street for six months before he could legally get a job. Johan started working at a book store and supported himself, virtually suppressing his “curse.” At the age of 18, Johan decided to set out and see the world. He packed up his ’86 Volvo and started driving across Europe. It was on this trip that Johan realized that he had his curse for life, and at the least he could help other people with it. For 7 years, Johan has been roaming Spain and the rest of the world with a small band of mutants with similar interests. One day he went out to his post-box and saw an invitation from Xavier to come teach other mutants. With this gift, James, who also calls himself The Anomaly, can harness the power of sand, shooting flurries of it at a time with his hands, or transforming into it, allowing him to permeate otherwise inaccessible areas. Over the years, James has grown a sibling rivalry with his Grant. His parents, Woodrow William Webber IV and Natalia Anne Jones Webber, were famed business moguls who co-owned Webber Enterprises, a vehicle manufacturing company. The family was forced to hide their Mutant abilities almost always, for fear of them being exposed and their business being stripped from their hands engulfed their minds. Because of this, James rarely got to use his ability. This life continued for James and his family for twenty-two years. Upon being discovered by Erik Magnus Xavier, the leader of the X-Men, James and his brother Grant enrolled in the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning in hopes of being able to utilize their gifts more often, and mastering them as well. 	Approved by the man himself, Greyjedi125 CHARACTER SHEET Alias: Recoil Real Name: Lance Tenoh Date of Birth: November 8th, 1983 Gender: Male Age: 22 Height: 5'11" Weight: 148 lbs. Eyes: Lance's eyes typically are a very brilliant blue; although when his powers are in use at certain levels they have a tendancy to shift across the spectrum. The colors most often seen are very light blue / silver-blue (moderate power strain), white (heavy power strain), and pure white (no pupil) during extreme power strain. Hair: Brown hair... rather typical honestly, his styles change rather often but usually Lance tries to keep his hair in either a short military style cut or a polar opposite grown out and pulled into a tail roughly the length of his shoulder-blades. In the event of the tail, he always will keep it tied with a trademark red strip of cloth. Family: Lance's family do not know of his mutant abilities... due to the fact that as soon as he realized his unique abilities; he feigned enlistment in the military and has been bouncing from city to city, college to college and job to job. Marital Status: Single-and-looking as you so eloquently put it. Species: Mutant, sufficed to say. Nationality: Caucasian/Japanese/Italian (interesting little blend) Team: Not Applicable Base of Operations: Xavier's School and his backpack. "Home is where your rump rests." Ability: Recoil is a mutant who's unique ability allows him to absorb energy (kinetic, heat, electric, sound, chemical, and radiation) and store it in his body for later use. By focusing on the stored energy, he can manipulate the forces at his disposal into concentrated blasts, short duration force fields (offensive and defensive), propulsion (flight/speed/leaping), limited enhanced regeneration, and generalized force manipulation (nudging things or people without a great deal of control: i.e. - knocking a book off a table) Appearance: On a normal day, Lance can be seen roaming around the campus in a pair of black slacks, red t-shirt and one of many overshirts left unbuttoned. He tends to dress a little more business casual than his other peers. One might contribute this to his self-imposed unstable upbringing. On the other hand, On-Duty, Recoil's uniform is very functional. Black, fitted cargo pants, tightly laced black military style steel-toe boots, metallic red sleeveless gi top, a hip-pouch with various utility items to fuel his powers (concussion grenades, batteries, a taser, lighter, glow-sticks) and a black/red tinted pair of sunglasses along with a pair of armored gloves. Other Special Features: Lance's anaotmy is easily his greatest downfall when using his powers. Since his power is mainly reactive... it usually involves him taking a thrashing before dealing one out. He attempts to compensate for that by constantly keeping energy stored in his body or aura at all times. This, sadly takes it toll on his health. Over time, the stored energy degrades and reacts like a poison to Lance's immune system, causing him to vomit blood, suffer from fevers, hallucinations, and fits of nightmares which prevent him from so much as sleeping for better than an hour at a time. Personality: Lance usually is a very quiet and withdrawn person; content to work on his computer, practice his martial arts, study english lit. and psychology and further his perfection of his unique abilities. He sees his mutation as a curse, which is understandable in a purely psychological manner as up to this point all uses have required a sacrifice on his part... physical, mental, health, or otherwise just to enable him to "activate" his powers. He is very, very protective of his belongings, and even more so of those who have earned his trust. He has absolutly no problem what-so-ever blowing off a direct order or rule in order to see justice served in his own unique fashion. Weapons: In his hip-pack or backpack, Lance carries a couple of improvised concussion grenades, a taser, a few batteries, a lighter (nothing fancy) as well as a pair of slightly larger than legal knives. History/Background: Lance Tenoh was born a mut, even by American standard. As a Japanese/Italian American he really never found a niche in the typical social structure of his schools or youth groups. At age six Lance took up martial arts and studied with an almost fanatical devotion in order to keep his mind off his solitude. When puberty hit, Lance's social standing wasn't much better than the computers which he had come to know oh so well. Of course, one day between classes at Fairfield Middle School, a small scuffle broke out and Lance was right in the middle of it. Another boy, three years his senior sturck Lance in the chest; cracking two ribs and knocking him into a stand of lockers... causing them to come crashing down. At this point, Lance can only recall blacking out, but in reality this is the exact moment his powers decided to awaken. According to the school's security cameras Lance kicked the entire set of lockers off himself and jumped to his feet, only to hover a solid six or seven inches off the ground with crackles of static around his body. In one deft movement of his arm the senior boy found himself on the wrong end of an out-of-control mutant. He survived and spends these days as a paraplegic due to the intense trauma caused by a kinetic blast through two brick reinforced walls. At that point, Lance made a hasty exit and proceeded to run away from home. Taking up residence at a cousin's house, he continued through high school where sadly another incident took place and he finally made the decision to leave everyone and everything behind. Feeding a line to his family that he was joining the military in order to "learn the discipline he needed to control himself" Lance packed his things in a single backpack and took out across the country. Bouncing from city to city, shelter-house to shelter-house, and college to college, he found himself slowly learning how to control the powers which plauged him. Finally, after realizing just what the trigger factor was, he dubbed himself Recoil, which he was told was a perfect fit when a letter somehow found him... an invitation to Xavier's School for the Gifted.

Eyes: Shining yellow Hair: Indigo, long and shaggy Family: Mother, Karen Wagner Marital Status: Single Species: Mutant Nationality: German Team: X-Men Base of Operations: Xavier Institute Ability: Self-Teleportation Appearance: Wears a black leather jacket at all times. Other Special Features: Only has three fingers (including an opposable thumb) on each hand, and only 2 toes, each longer than an ordinary human's, on each foot. Nighthunter also has a prehensile tail about 3 1/2 feet long, which can carry his own weight. His body is almost entirely covered with fine indigo-colored skin, making him so dark that he seems to blend into deep shadows. (Contrary to appearances, he does not literally turn invisible in deep shadow.) Nightcrawler also has pointed ears and pronounced fang-like canine teeth. His spine is more flexible than an ordinary human being's, allowing him to spend much of his time in a semi-crouching position without damaging his posture and enables him to perform contortionist-like feats. Nighthunter is also a superb athlete and an Olympic-class acrobat. He can do a standing high jump of about 8 feet. He is skilled at hand-to-hand combat and is a master at fencing, which he can even perform with his tail. Personality: He is very cocky with his powers and sometimes uses them to play jokes. Even in times of peril he has a very lighthearted attitude. Although he is cocky, he still works well with other members of the X-Men. Weapons: Nothing but his tail. He also specializes in hand to hand combat. History/Background: Hans Wagner was born to Mutant Kurt Wagner and his human wife Karen Wagner. He was raised in Germany by his mother mostly by his mother, while his father, known as the Nightcrawler, worked as the leader of Excalibur. When Hans turned 13 he discovered he had the same power of self-teleportation that his father did. His father then helped him develop his power even more, whenever he was at home. But when Hans was 18, his father was killed by an unknown mutant. The first memory he has is of his first day at the Munich Circus. He and another mutant by the name of ‘The Incredible Nightcrawler’ both played Demon’s in the circus act…and when he didn’t perform correctly, in practice or not, Hermes was severely beaten, leading to his scarred figure. After what he assumes was 10 years in the circus…at what he be ivies was age 19 (Really 20) he ran…or rather flew away from the circus. But, he found out that he wasn’t welcomed in this world. He was what people thought was a Demon. He eventually made it stateside, hiding in libraries and train stations for a year…studying mythology and looking for religion. He didn’t find the latter, but he found a name. Hermes…Greek messenger god, gift of flight, gift of tongues, had Hermes been able to shrink things; he would have been the re-incarnation. At 23, Hermes was one of NYC’s top crime fighters, and found by the X-men that very year. He was eventually re-united with his old friend Kurt, but they went their separate ways. More recently, Hermes flew home to Germany, in search of more mutants, and possible connections to Nightcrawler. (It is believed that the two could have been brothers.) His powers developed at the young age of 10, when in a rage nearly killed another child by flinging him against a wall. He was captured and taken to a Maximum Security prison, where he perfected his powers for the years to follow, before escaping at 15. He wandered North America for the next 3 years, spending time in Mexico, Canada, and many of the United States, living the party life, and soon came to believe he was better than everyone else, and following the Brotherhood ideals that mutants should live, not humans…at 18, He took on the name Mental and terrorized NYC…giving many mutants a bad name, he spent 2 years attacking, but never killing humans, especially the filth that stole and murdered, slowly realizing people didn’t deserve to die, the deserved to be given a chance, and he devoted himself to saving people by destroying those who threaten them. He is also less affected by pain. Due to a split personality, he becomes more agressive and uncontrolled while transformed. Appearance: Slightly pale; Fit, but not muscluar; He usually wears dark blue jeans, a plain white t-shirt, tenis shoes, and a black zippered jacket with a hood. Other Special Features: He developed a split personality as a kid named Ogre. He constantly hears him and can talk back to him (like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde). His anger triggers the switch between the two personalities, as well as his transformation. Personality: He's shy to a fault, usually very quiet and reserved. He's not really a loner, but prefers to stay out of the action. When around those he knows, he can be fairly humorous. He's kind and humble, and tries to avoid conflict at all costs, so as to keep his "other half" in check. Ogre is the complete opposite. He's violent, mean, and cocky. Weapons: Just his powers. History/Background: Greg Balis started out as a normal kid. At the age of five, he claimed he'd met a new friend named Ogre, who was actually an imaginary friend he'd made up. As he grew older, instead of fading away, Ogre became more real and started telling him to do hurtful things to his classmates. When he dicided not to one day, Ogre turned on him and caused him to break his arm. He was eleven at the time. His father found out about the situation and got mad him for hurting himself over someone who wasn't real. This made Greg angry and triggered his first transformation. He almost killed his father that day. Ogre also realized that when he transformed, he could control Greg's body. He took advantage of this and purposely tried to make Greg angry so he could transform and be "free", as he called it. When Greg's parents found out about the Xavier Institute a year later, they sent him there and found out that Greg had a split personality that was blown out of perportion by his mutation. Since the two minds were so opposite, when Greg's more aggressive nature came out, Ogre's mind would take over until he had calmed down. After six years, he had finally learned how to somewhat control his "other half", ignoring the insestant taunting and keeping his feelings in check. One day his house was burned down by an arsonist and his whole family was killed he should’ve been killed too but somehow was alive when the firemen came and put out the fire he was discovered but they looked disgusted by him and in his rage he slew all 7 of them with Lava that seemingly came from his hands. Went to find the arsonist with his new ability and easily located the man who turned out to be a fire bearing mutant as well. Kevin killed him with his arms which he could turn into metal. Amazed by his new ability went wondering in the forest when he found himself cornered by another mutant who was a friend of the arsonist and had heard of his death. Kevin tried using fire but it was no use against the water wielding mutant. Sensing his danger he called upon all his strength and ripped two wooden stakes from a nearby tree at speared the mutant through the heart. Kevin later bought two swords (katanas) Donning the name Diabolos because of his abilities Kevin tried to find a way to control himself. He once tried to really focus and see farther ahead, but nearly had a brain hemmorhage. The farther ahead he sees, the more his head seems to hurt. This ability makes him seem very lucky to others, explaining his name. Blackjack also has the optic blast power that unlike Cyclops, can only be contained by blue saphire, not ruby.He also has a weakness for the ladies. He may even fall for a bad girl if he is so blinded by his feelings for them. Appearance: Pretty muscular and chiseled fellow. when he isn't doing his superhero thing, he is a pretty t-shirt and jeans type of guy. He is a southern boy and always wears his cowboy boots and his blue saphire quartz shades, occasionally a cowboy hat. In uniform, he wears a tight under armor-like shirt under his midnight blue and gold leather X-Men jacket. with matching pants, and of course, his blue visor. But, with his southern boy tendencies comes a bit of a temper if you push him too far. Also loves Fast cars, big trucks, and sports. Practical joker, would be a pain in the neck for John Storm II. The son of a former collegiate All-American Football player Robert "Bob" Black. His Mother is a retired country singer Marybeth Black. He was an athlete from a young age. His father got him into football. Bo knew early on that he was lucky, he was the best quarterback anyone had ever seen considering he colud always see what the defense was going to do before it happened. And he had never lost a game. His father noticed it too, but figured it was just good genes. This continued until high school. During his Senior year, in the State Championship. The game was tied in the fourth quarter, and Bo was throwing the game-winning pass. As he threw, he emitted a blast from his eyes that hit his tight end in the chest, knocking him out, not killing him. But, as Bo's luck would have it, the wide receiver was right there to make the catch. It was then that he and his family realized that their son was "special" and didn't allow their son to continue in football, fearing that his new power could get someone hurt. Seeing now that their son had these extraordinary gifts, they did some hunting to find a place where "mutants" where welcomed. 	RETURNING CHARACTERS I have five active characters returning, as well as several NPCs that will pop up. A couple of the NPCs could be argued to be active as well(Lust, Gluttony) but I still consider them to just be NPCs controlled by me. I will only be posting the character sheet for four of my actives, however. The other active is a secret, but GJ knows what it is. Anyway: Alias: Armageddon Real Name: Jonathan Gabriel Archer Date of Birth: 6 - 6 - 1983 Gender: Male Age: Earth years: 22. Time spent in In-Betweenerâ€™s timeless realm: 2,000. Height: Varies. Species: HomoSuperior(Mutant) Nationality: United States. Team: None. Base of Operations: Ship provided to him by the In-Betweener. Ability: Armageddon, like his predecessor, possesses superhuman strength which he can augment by psionically drawing on outside energy sources. Armageddon can alter the atomic structure of his body at will in order to change his form. He can even increase his size by taking on additional mass from a presumably extra-dimensional source. Through his ability to alter his form, Armageddon can give himself virtually any superhuman physical power. Also like his predecessor, Armageddonâ€™s "costume" is actually part of his body, and he can psionically alter its appearance at will. He can levitate himself telekinetically. Appearance: Other Special Features: Though almost identical, Armageddon is not as experienced with his powers. Thus is somewhat weaker in his usage of them. This will change with time though, if Apocalypse is absent for an extended period of time. Personality: Already he harbored thoughts of domination, of ruling at least a country. He is a maniacal genius at this point. He is a great strategist and will do anything to fulfill the destiny given to him. Weapons: HE is a weapon. History/Background: Born Jonathan Gabriel Archer, Armageddon grew up in the mean streets of New York City. His parents were poor and he was forced to make his own on the streets. That was until his parents were both slain in a drive by shooting performed by a rival gang. He, the intended target, had been out that night. The anger he felt at this awakened his mutant power, telekinesis, and he sought out revenge against all who had ever harmed his family. This would not come to fruition, at that moment, though. For he was being watched by a being of Cosmic Powers. It had already been 3 years since the galaxy had said goodbye to Apocalypse. Apocalypse, long since an acquaintance of The Watcher, had been offered a trip by the Cosmic Entity. Apocalypse would be sent throughout the galaxies and even the universes, if he so desired. He would be an entity much like The Watcher, and thus could not interact or interfere with the trials of each place he came too. He was being offered the chance to accumulate knowledge of cultures vastly different from the ones he already knew. Knowing that dominating Earth could always wait, he took The Watcher up on the offer and left for an undisclosed period of time. The loss of such evil naturally drew the eyes of Lord Chaos and Master Order. The Earth universe was off balance. Good had gained a substantial advantage over evil, and the absence threatened to tear the universes apart. Together, the two entrusted their agent The In-Betweener to create a new champion of Evil. A new Apocalypse. He was to find a being with a blackened heart who already possessed substantial mutant powers and take them to his realm. In this timeless place he was to offer this being the chance to acquire mass power for nothing. He chose Jonathan. Abducting the now 22year old man, In-Betweener made his offer. The chance to become all powerful was too tempting for the power and vengeance hungry young man. He accepted without hesitation and began his long training and re-imagining inside the In-Betweenerâ€™s realm. At the end of 2000 timeless years, he was changed immensely. No longer did he look anything like his former self, he was now Armageddon. No longer did he simply hate those who had harmed his family directly, but ALL of mankind. Appearance: Other Special Features: Unlike Colossus, Wrath cannot de-metal. Personality: Pure rage and anger. He lives for nothing other than to destroy. He is in a constant state of rampage. When he is aboard Armageddon's ship, they place him in a stasis chamber so as to keep him from destroying anything on the ship. Weapons: Fireballs, optic beams, hot melted metal as projectiles. History/Background: As soon as he was born, and his skin touched oxygen for the first time, his mutant ability kicked in and he was covered in adamantium. His parents were afraid of this child, and dumped him at an orphanage in London. The orphanage, afraid of him as well, but unable to turn down a child in need, locked him away in their basement, feeding him scraps and leftovers until he was 18, in which they dumped him out onto the streets. No name, no life, no intelligence, he stumbled through the streets until Pride noticed in him great potential. Luring him onboard Armageddon's ship, Pride entrusted their newest acquisitions transformation over to his master. Armageddon saw great potential in what he would name "Wrath". He would build up its offensive potential, its defense already taken care of naturally. Implanting cybernetic eye implants, created by Apocalypse and given to Armageddon by the In-Betweener, he was given optic blasts like Cyclops, but weaker in power and range. He was also given implants into the mind that would block all but the most powerful psionics users in the world. It was after this, though, that Armageddon discovered Wrath's latent mutant genes. Building them up, as he had done for Pride, Armageddon unleashed a fire and brimstone that almost destroyed all of his equipment. Out of the choas rose Wrath. infantile in intelligence, near unstoppable in power, he was truly Armageddon's masterpiece in offensive strength. Recently attacked Paris, easily taking care of the current Excalibur team and destroying several national monuments. Only through his fear of Armageddon does he continue to work under the man. Weapons: Several daggers and two swords. History/Background: Will Wadeson was born into a proud military tradition. His father, grandfather, and great grandfather had all served in the military, and he took up that honor. Growing up, he was used to a strict regiment of training for the day in which he would become a soldier. When he got home from school, it was training. Homework was training. All was training for the day he entered the military. As such, when he was 18 he joined the Navy and quickly became a renowned Navy Seal. He performed many missions in his long carreer before retiring to live a less hectic life. But normal life wasn't for Will. Due to his strict upbringing, he had no other skills than being a soldier. He was a warrior through and through. So he became a mercenary. Operating under the name of "The Funnel", he was an excelent gun for hire. That is until the day Armageddon noticed the latent mutant genes located within Will's body. Abducting him, Armageddon was now ready to put his plan into motion for his conquest. So he went about creating the first of his Seven Deadly Sins. Pride. When Will awoke, his former life as Will Wadeson III, as "The Funnel", was wiped out. He was now gifted with genius intellect and even more physical prowess. A natural fear of Armageddon, driven into his psyche during the transformation process, caused him to immediately seek the other mutant's approval. His main tasks now include, but are not limited to, scouting out new prospects to become members of the Mortal Seven. Led the attack on Paris, using Wrath's distraction to obtain Parisian information on European mutants. CHARACTER SHEET Alias: Vermillion Real Name: Modrin Casham Date of Birth: 9/13/05 Gender: Male Age: Looks to be 18 Height: 6'2 Weight: 165 Eyes: Red Hair: Shoulder blade length white hair Family: CLASSIFIED, unknown to him Marital Status: Single Species: Highly Advanced Android Nationality: N/A Team: None, wishes to join X-Men Base of Operations: N/A Ability: Flight, force fields, energy beams(in both hands and in his eyes), control over other computers, Superhuman strength(Lift up to 10 tons). Could have potentially greater powers, but something is limiting any of them from surfacing. Appearance: Other Special Features: None. Personality: Is very naive in his nature. Like a child that is experiencing everything the world offers for the first time. However, he does maintain a certain maturity to him in physicality and, in some ways, mentality. Weapons: None History/Background: Badly damaged in some incident he can't remember, Modrin found himself seeking out the strange Mansion near where he had crashed. In need of repairs, the machine collapsed near the front of Xavier's. Following his landing, he was rushed to confinement where he completed his self-repair just in time to help save the life of a young girl at the academy. He had hopes then to help protect the others when the Brotherhood attacked. However, he did not have his shields up at full power when Karra shot off a high powered blast. Already in the air, the blast knocked him "out" and sent him flying at least a mile away from the Institute. Once again in need of extensive self-repair, his body worked quietly away during the following events. He does not know this, but his body has now acquired a newfound resistance to energy blasts of that which hit him. He can now take several without being damaged. This seems to be due to a new function that was repaired during this most recent self-repair. And of course the NPCs. Only two have pictures and descriptions at the moment. Still re-working the other two, hence why they haven't been too active. Her powers are an enhanced pheromone like secretion that places living beings under her control, as well as fingers much like Lady Deathstrike, only they can extend a bit longer. She also has regenerative powers. Along with Gluttony, watched as Envy used a congressional alias to bring forth the Mutant Registration Act. His mouth produces a strongly acidic acid that can even melt through adamantium, though the stronger the metal the longer it takes to eat through it. He also has regenerative qualities and a good deal of strength. Though, the processes in his body to give him these powers make him constantly hungry. But he can digest nearly anything he eats.
