IC Jacub Frederick Alexander
"So, mind tellin me about everyone, I mean introductions wise?" Jacub blushed heavily now.
Karra
nodded,
"Don't worry. I'm sure they will introduce themselves. Or one of the Professor's will help with that."
She sighed.
"You kind of caught us at a busy time, so things might seem hectic."
Karra then turned to him and gave him a very charming smile.
"Then again, its ALWAYS hectic around here. Takes a bit to get used to it all. But don't worry. You'll be fine."
Jacub chuckled, his cheeks still red. That had always been a habit for him. "Ah, don't worry about that, I am used to it, I mean with my livin on the street and all. As you can tell, it's not a sensitive subject. Actually, I'm just glad to be here." He smiled and quickly reflected on his past on the lonely road. He pulled up his snagged and worn gloves with the fingers cut off. At this point, they were just part of the comfort factor.
He didn't know why but this woman, Karra, seemed to help him right out of his shell, he didn't feel like he had to hold anything in, he could talk to her without worry.
As they got closer to the huge mansion Jacub noticed someone standing near their path. He didn't seem like he meant any harm. Now that he thought of it, it seemed silly that Jacub had gotten startled at the sight of him. I mean, this was an academy, he had to get used to a lot of other people being around. When they got close enough he nodded to Jacub and asked Karra a question.
"What's going on down there?"
Karra grinned again and Jacub could hear a slight buzz, his hyper hearing hadn't gone all the way down yet.
"Well..let's just say, that the new goth's first impression was NOT a good one. Sage is busy talking to him now."
Jacub turned to look back at the trio. A beautiful lady with raven black hair, a gothed out rocker kid and another kid who didn't seem to know the first thing about what was going on. Karra winked at the gentleman that had greeted Jacub, then she turned to him.
"Jacub, this is
Bad Boy
. Bad Boy, Jacub. Heading over to the main office, so he can meet the other professors."
Jacub nodded to the man, his cheeks a slight pink and extended his hand for a formal hand shake. "Jacub Alexander, nice to meet you. Uh, it's Bad Boy, right?" After they had had their introductions Karra led Jacub into the mansion to meet the "other professors". All Jacub could think was if Professor Xavier himself was going to be there. Jacub flung his duffel bag farther onto his shoulder and continued to follow Karra.
In the distant back round Jacub could here some one yell:
"Hey!"
He smiled, must be another newcomer. He continued to follow Karra into
Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning

RE: The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning: Path of Heroes
Naomi Lee
Taxi, En Route to Xavier Mansion
Outfit:
Naomi’s ocean blue eyes watched intently the woods pass by her as the yellow taxi raced down the empty road. She knew these woods. Occasionally, she had found herself hunting small animals in an opening a half a mile in. A small smile crossed her face.
It was good to be back home.
She noticed out of the corner of her eye that the taxi driver, Ed, was staring at her through the mirror. Looking towards the mirror, she smiled pleasantly and battered her eyes. “I appreciate your help.”
“Not a problem at all, missy.” The burly man said with a chuckle. He had enjoyed the young woman’s company. She had reminded him of his daughter, before the cancer had struck. The thought of her brought a look of pain to his cheery face.
Softly, sensing Ed’s change in demeanor, Naomi put a gentle hand on his shoulder. Through the windshield, she noticed a downed tree. It had been naturally destroyed by lightning, and was a marker to Naomi that she was very close to the mansion.
“If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to walk the rest of the way.” She said quietly.
The yellow cab slowed to a stop. “Are- are you sure? I don’t feel right leaving you in the middle of-” Ed said, looking around to see nothing but trees.
“Quite sure! This forest here is home!” Naomi said with a giggle.
“Alright, then…” The older man said, putting the car in park and stepping out of it. After opening and closing the door for Naomi, Ed opened the truck to get her small suite case. He couldn’t believe anyone could travel with just a small backpack full of clothes, but her confidence kept his questions at bay. “Here ya go.”
“How much do I owe you?” She asked, fumbling with the cash from her jacket pocket. Large curls of multi-shade brown hair fell over her shoulder as she looked over the green bills in her hand.
“Fifty will do it.” Ed said, though he almost felt bad for the price, but his boss would rip him a new one if he didn’t get at least that.
Quickly, Naomi counted out fifty dollars, leaving her a few ones and a ten, then exchanged it for her luggage. “Thank you so much, sir.”
“Thank you! Have a wonderful evening, miss.”
“And you.” Naomi said, smiling politely as she took a few steps backwards down the road, throwing her kaki backpack over her shoulder, then waved as the cab driver closed his door and put the car into drive. He waved back as he turned on the shoulderless road, forcing Naomi into the leaf covered grass.
The smell of the forest filled her nostrils. It was good to be back home.
The yellow cab disappeared around a curve in the road, and Naomi was left alone, about three miles from the mansion. Skipping down the road, her heels clicked on the black pavement, and a smile grew from ear to ear!
Jumping from the blacktop to the grass, Naomi took off in a run (as much as any talented woman can run in heels without breaking an ankle) to the blackened tree which she had noted earlier. It was hollowed out, and Naomi had clamed it (after eating it’s inhabitants for dinner one evening) as her own hiding spot.
When she had first found it, she had kept her diary or journal in the old stump, but as she grew older, she kept money or other important items within it. But, when she had decided to leave, she had cleared it out of her things.
Peering into the darkness, Naomi was glad nothing large had moved in… but she could smell the faint smell of squirrels. After taking a quick look around, the tall beauty stripped down to nothing, stuffing the clothes in the already stuffed bag, and shoving the kaki bag deep into the stump. A breeze blew over her bare, creamy skin, causing Goosebumps to appear.
Taking a deep breath, Naomi closed her eyes and let herself go. Reddish brown fur covered her body as she shrunk, her joints cracking. A snout grew between her two blue eyes, and white fur appeared underneath it. A thick bushy tail with a white tip shot out and her ears perked up. Within seconds, the beautiful woman had transformed into an ordinary fox.
The scents of the animals around her filled her black nostrils. Squirrels, blue jays, rabbits, snakes being the stronger smells. Naomi could hear for miles around. She could hear a nearby bee hive buzzing with life, and somewhere close to it was a stray cat and her litter.
“Damn, it’s good to be back home!” said the fox in a voice that had sounded just like her voice in human form. Setting off in a trot towards the mansion, Naomi’s head was filled of what she was going to eat first.
Her mind else where, she didn’t even hear or smell what she ran into next. Hiding amongst the trees were US soldiers and high tech equipment.
Naomi stopped dead in her tracks, one white paw still in mid air. Slowly, she lowered herself close to the ground and slinked towards the group, perking her ears up to hear any stray conversation. Suddenly, her blue eyes caught a glimps of what was on one of the screens. The mansion.
They were staking out the mansion!
She couldn’t remember why this was, but something in the back of her mind told her to get to the mansion.
“Hey look!”
Naomi nearly jumped out of her skin. They had spotted her.
“Is that a fox?” The voice asked.
“Yes, I think it is.” The second said, pointing a fake gun at Naomi. Then, making a loud gun shot noise with his mouth, he ‘shot’ her.
Acting as a normal fox, Naomi took off in a dead run back towards the road. Without stopping, she followed it to the gates, the green grass running under her white paws. Her sense of panic had pressed her ears against her head and her tail stuck out straight behind her.
Dashing out of the forrest, the shadow of the mansion covered her. She hoped her path through the shrubbery was still there.
To her excitement, it was. Quickly she force her way through the nearly over grown path of branches and into the gardens of the mansion. Running along the foundation of the building, Naomi looked for a way in. Her room had once been on the bottom floor, and she would leave it open so that she could get back in. Unfortuanly, it had been nearly 3 years since she had last been in the building.
She was going to have to do this the hard way.
Standing at the back door, her front paws against the wooden doors, she began to yell loudly.
“Hey! Someone let me in! I’m back!!! Hey! HEY!”

IC: Eagle's Breath
Inside Mansion
Regaining his composure he stood taking a slow turn letting his eye's search thru the whole mansion and just beyond, taking in the comotion in the front by the gate and the oddest thing...a fox was pawing at he back door. Quickly he moved taking whatever dimensial shortcut was easiest to the back door, and once he rematerilized he heard a woman calling,
“Hey! Someone let me in! I’m back!!! Hey! HEY!”
Opening the door he looked down at the fox, "Good evening young miss, and welcome back. I'm sorry if I don't recognize you, I'm still learning the new faces." Motioning her inside he picked absently at the bandages as he watched recalling all the stories he'd learned and made concerning foxes, "I'm called Eagle's Breath, but you may call me Eagle if you'd rather. Dealer of ancient wisdom and alternate level of reality favors." He said with a grin and a slight nod of the head.

IC: Wolf
Wolf completed a circle of the mansion and did not like what he saw. Silently he stalked back to the main doors looking for Sage, The the silver haired mutant following her scent down the hallways past the kids that ran through and around the place
Dont know if im ready to deal with kids just yet
I do miss teaching though
he thought thinking of the school he had ran with his old master a grimace split his face that sent a boy backing into a nearby room.
Eventually he came upon Sage and her companions, he strode up to her, idley picking his teeth with a sharpened claw. "Sage" he growled softly "we have a problem" Drawing her aside slightly he continued "You might already know but this place is surrounded by your military, and looking at them their getting ready for something".

OOC:
Okay, I'm finally back. I don't know if it's still night, so I might have made a major goof, but I kinda rushed this.
IC JACK "HAWK" WARNER & ELANA WARNER:
Infirmary...
It seemed as if a million things were going on at once. Outside the infirmary, the sounds of body blows, broken furniture, and cries of pain resounded throughout the mansion and surrounding area. Inside the Infirmary, a large green man, the one known as Ogre, was trying to harm some students.
In the next instant, all the noises of battle outside had ceased. The man named Ogre was quickly suppressed, and taken care of.
Through all of this, Elana never left Jack's side.
The silence that came felt awkward. The sounds of battle had been sounding for over a while, and the silence was almost as bad as all the noise of earlier. The humming and beeping of medical equipment droned, and the medbots whirred here and there, performing various tasks. The ambience of the Infirmary was increased by the moaning of wounded students, who began streaming into the Infirmary.
Jack and Elana were silent, watching the stream flow in. All shapes and sizes came in, quickly filling up the beds.
"How are you feeling?" Elana asked her brother.
Jack shrugged. "Better. My arm still hurts, but not as bad."
Thankfully, Jack had not broken his arm - he just had a few large bruises. He did manage to acquire a slightly sprained ankle, which would keep him from comfortably walking fro a while.
"I might need to use you as a crutch," Jack said, smirking. "Think you can turn into one of those?"
Elana smiled, shaking her head. "Nope. I cant turn into animals, other people, Star Wars aliens, and all that."
"Even a Hutt?"
Elana's face contorted into a look of disgust. "No."
Jack laughed heartily. "I can see it now - Elana the Hutt." Jack laughed again. "I've known a few people that you can call that, mutant or not."
Suddenly, Jocasta appeared behind Elana.
"The crisis around and in the mansion has been resolved," Jocasta said to Elana in her pleasant-but-stern tone. Elana nearly jumped out of her skin, startled by the sudden appearance of the mansion's artificial intelligence. Elana turned to face Jocasta. "Although you should be advised to take caution if you decied to venture out of the Infirmary."
"Thanks, Jocasta," Elana said, giving her a small smile.
With that, Jocasta vanished as quickly as she had appeared.
"I hate it when she does that," Jack muttered.
The stream of wounded students continued to flow in. Jack smiled. "This reminds me of that scene from Godzilla - the old one."
Elana leaned closer to Jack.
"I can almost hear Raymond Burr now."
What Jack had just said sparked something in Elana's mind. She smiled wryly, and concentrated. Jack watched as her face morphed into a goo-looking substance.
"Elana - stop!" Jack said sternly.
The transformation stopped, and reversed itself. Elana clearly was disappointed. "I was just trying to entertain you."
" I don't think seeing Raymond Burr's head on your body would've made me happy." Jack grimaced at the thought.
Elana leaned back in her chair, and crossed her arms. "Fine."
The two were silent for a while, as more students came filing in.
"Maybe we should leave," Jack pondered aloud. "Somebody probably needs this bed more than I do."
Elana thought along with her brother. "But Jocasta said that we should be careful outside the Infirmary."
"Jocasta schmoe-casta..." Jack muttered. Although, she was probably right. Jack nodded his head. "Yeah, but our rooms ought to be safe enough."
The two were silent again for a time, until Jack spoke up. "You ought to go get some sleep. I'll be fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive. Now go to your room, young lady."
Elana smiled, and began to leave. Jack propped himself up. "Good night, Changeling."
Elana turned around to face Jack. "Good night, mutie."
Jack smiled as Elana left. She hated the nickname "Changeling."
Jack laid back in his bed, listening to the myriad noises in the Infirmary.
The Mansion...
The mansion looked like a disaster area. almost everything worth a fair bit of money was smashed beyond repair. Dodging students heading for the Infirmary, Elana made her way to her room, which was untouched. There weren't as many signs of battle in the hallway near her room, for which she was grateful.
Unlocking the door to her room, she entered. Her room was still slightly messy - her desk was covered with a myriad of magazines, and her bed was unmade. Switching into some pajamas, she laid down in her bed, covered herself with a warm blanket, and began to drifted off to sleep.
Infirmary...
Jack stared at the paneled ceiling. The flow of students had slowed now, and many beds were filled. The medbots frantically hurried about, performing various tasks on the injured students.
For Jack, though, the night wasn't over yet. Now that the "crisis" was over, maybe it would be good to find Alice - or, whoever had taken control of her - and try to figure out what exactly had happened. Jack sat up in his bed, and looked for something to help him walk. A cane was propped against the small desk next to his bed (why it was there he had no idea), which he grabbed. Standing himself up, he began to walk around the Infirmary, looking for Professor N'Dare - or anyone, for that matter - who he could ask for permission to leave.

He took a deep breath once more, this time looking down upon his torn clothes. He tried his best too look atleast half-way decent for the purpose of 'first-impressions'.
He backed away from the door, and turned the opposite way. He took a few short steps forward. Then he fell back on himself and returned to the door.
He knocked, and there he waited for destiny to answer his crying call.

Blink's expression went hard, even as Aurora moved to the other students back.
"Let him go."
Blink said steadly.
"Professor N'dare is busy. Soemthing is going on, and we're all on lockdown. So why don't you let Wei Chen go."
Ogre's face contorted into something between a smirk and a snarl. He opened his mouth to speak, but an invisible hand around his throat stopped him. Thera was sending him a death glare.
"With a thought I could easily destroy you. I suggest you let him down immediately if you don't want your extremities flying off in different directions."
As her grip tightened, his fists refexively clenched. Wei Chen never felt it though. Jocasta let loose with several powerful zaps of the neural 'gun' she'd been secretly training on Ogre. He stiffened, then lost conciousness. The muscled mutant reverted back to his original form, even as he fell. If he could have, Greg would have smiled.

RE: The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning: Path of Heroes
Mads Haumann, Emke Haumann
the subway
Mads held fast to the ring on the subway car as the train approached its next stop. He wasn’t used to commuting just yet. Mads missed walking to and from work, or even the town car that dropped by the UN when they were living in the hotel. Actually, living in a hotel had been the most interesting and mind numbing months of his life. Luckily Mads had work to occupy his days, so it was only room service and restaurant food that was becoming mundane. Emke had her entire day free.
At first, Emke was content to read in their room, use the pool and gym facilities in the hotel’s recreational center, or take walks in the surrounding neighborhood. The excitement was short lived once Emke discovered the hotel was nestled among office buildings and up scale retirement housing. After two and a half weeks of attending spinning classes and aimlessly wandering the streets, Emke ventured 12 blocks away from the hotel. There she discovered a small park in a vacant lot and the condominiums gave way to lower rent housing. On the far side of the park Emke
Secondhand Rose
, a vintage clothing and dry goods store as well as a few other off kilter shops. Emke’s favorite being
Stumptown
, a coffee shop that double as a record store. Here, Emke nursed her growing obsession with Tony Bennett and coffee.
The regulars were taken with Emke from the moment she walked through the door, perhaps it was the accent. Emke began her days in her secret corner of bohemia, trading French lessons and dancing tips for coffee and records. Iona, the pink haired clerk from
Secondhand Rose
, gave Emke advice on creating “volcanic ensembles” and begged her for stories about Europe. The two became fast friends and would spend hours talking about anything at all.
It took some time for Mads to adjust to the Americanized Emke. He really didn’t notice much of a difference, it was merely Emke amplified and with more accessories. Though a caffeinated Emke didn’t ease his headaches at the end of a long day, she was far more entertaining than a day at work. After two months the lackadaisical pace of
Stumptown
nearly ground to a halt as summer merged in to fall, bringing with it the return of classes and part time jobs. Though Emke made it a point to stop by
Stumptown
for her cup of coffee, she no longer spent her days in the hideaway world. About this time, Mads began to notice the man with the newspaper waiting in a park outside of the UN building. One day, Mads’ day ended early so he called the driver to come pick him up. He was watching the man when he decided to approach him while he waited. He stopped across from the man.
“Avi, shouldn’t you be watching my wife?” Mads asked him, sounding as if he had been raised in Brooklyn.
“Aajis told me you were smart,” he replied folding his paper to look up at Mads. He seemed startled for a moment. “You have his eyes.”
“So I’ve been told. My wife-”
“Yes, yes. I have someone much more menacing than myself following Emke.” Avi interrupted. He looked Mads up and down taking note of his slightly rumpled clothes and tired visage, a crooked smile spreading across his face. “Tell me, are you ready to live in a house again- like a human being.”
“Don’t tell me you have a house for me.” Mads smiled in spite of himself, then joined in Avi’s laughter.
“Of course not! It’s an apartment- do you know how much a decent house costs in New York?” Mads suddenly wasn’t laughing anymore. “Look here’s the town car. Now let’s pick up ya wife and see the apartment. Obviously, I haven’t signed anything so it isn’t your apartment- yet.”
The next few weeks seemed like a dream. Mads and Emke officially owned the apartment in a nice building in the same Lower East Side neighborhood as Avi’s apartment which was above his small, Kosher, grocery store. Avi helped them move all of their belongings from the storage unit to the apartment. Emke spent a few weeks painting and setting their belongings in order. Once the place began to feel more like a home, Emke began working at
Cohen’s Kosher Goods
a few days a week. Unlike the hotel, this excitement didn’t wear off so easily.
The sudden jolt of the subway leaving the station brought Mads back to reality, and his throbbing headache. Mads wondered if it wasn’t just a head cold, his nose had started running. Mads sniffled until he was able to pull a tissue from his coat pocket and wipe his nose. He was startled to see red when he brought the tissue away. He quickly dabbed his nose again, but it appeared it was only a trickle of blood. For the remainder of his commute and as he walked the rest of the way home Mads routinely checked his nose for any more signs of blood. As Mads put his key in the lock he could hear Emke singing with Tony as she prepared dinner.
"...
please remember I still want you and in case you wonder why, well-
" Emke turned to sing to Mads as he walked into the apartment, “
Mon dieu
!” Apparently Mads still had blood speared across his face, he immediately touched his nose. “
Ce qui s’est produit
?” Emke implored as she scanned his face for any other injuries.
“Nothing, I just ran into a man when the subway stopped. I’m fine.” Emke still looked concerned. “How was your day,
muyskens
?”
“Ok... Avi has some errands to run tomorrow, so he asked me to wait for his grandson after school. Are you sure you’re alright?” Emke watched as Mads sat down at the table.
“Yes, I’m fine!” Mads was trying not to become irritated. He took a deep breath, “I didn’t know Avi had a grandson?” Mads asked, genuinely puzzled.
“Neither did I, until today…” Mads really did want to listen to what Emke had to say, he could tell she was excited about something. But he couldn’t ignore his pulsating headache, and spent the rest of the evening trying to ignore the heartbeat in his head.

Xavier's Mansion
Roxanne headed to the infirmary to see if there was anything she could do to help. Once inside, her heart stopped for a second. Her twin brother was sitting on one of the beds. "Jayson!"
Looking up from the bandages the bots were putting on, Jayson forced the grimace off his face. With his all of his strength, he forced a smile on his face. “And our favorite twin sister decides to show up.”
“I’m your only twin sister.” Roxanne said, sitting slowly at the edge of the bed, her blue eyes studying Jayson’s back. “What happened? Are you going to be okay?”
The bots finished putting the bandage on, then left to go attend to other students. “I’m fine, Rox. Football caused me worse wounds than this.” Gently, her pale hand grabbed his. “I promise. It’s just a burn.”
“How?”
“It’s a long story…”
“I’ve got-“
“I know.” Jayson said. “You’ve got all the time in the world… and more. As you know, kids were turning on each other right and left. Well… at least I think they did. I don’t know enough people to know who’s who.” Roxanne shrugged. She had missed the whole thing. “Anyway, there was this mutant who was attacking me and these other kids with balls of fire… or lava… or something… and I made a protective dome around them, my plasma absorbing enough to keep us from dying… but not enough to keep me from being burned.”
“I see. Well, next time you think you have to do something heroic, make sure I’m there to keep you from dying.” Roxanne said, a frown growing on her face. With a sigh, she looked around the busy infirmary. Could she had help prevent any of this had she been here?
“So, where were you during this whole time? Making out with that ice boy?” Jayson said, shifting his face so that he looked like Brandon and made a mockery ‘kissy’ face.
“No.” Roxanne said, rolling her eyes. “I haven’t seen him since yesterday. I was outside, thinking. I didn’t even know there was anything going on in here.” She lied. Her eyes caught a glimpse of Ogre’s massive form being brought down. “I’ll be back.”
Roxanne jumped off the bed and ran over to where they were surrounding Gregory. She stood just behind everyone around him, sadness sweeping over her. No matter what problems she had, she knew Gregory’s were ten times worse. His much smaller body lay, sprawled on the ground.
Quietly, Roxanne bent down next to him. Her poor friend. She was going to help him, no matter what it took. “Are you going to leave him here? Let me help you move him.”

Back door, Xavier Mansion
Naomi didn’t recognize this guy. But of course, there would be plenty of new students that had enrolled over the past 3 years.
"Good evening young miss, and welcome back. I'm sorry if I don't recognize you, I'm still learning the new faces. I'm called Eagle's Breath, but you may call me Eagle if you'd rather. Dealer of ancient wisdom and alternate level of reality favors."
“Ah. I’m Naomi Lee. It’s a pleasure. Now, I need to talk to Erik Xavier this moment.” Without a pause, the small fox ran into the building and ran down the halls. Her small paws lightly slapped against the hard floors, hardly audible to ears nearby. Pausing for a moment, she looked over her shoulder, her blue eyes seeming out of place surrounded by her red and white fur. “Please, take me to him! This is an emergency!”

IC: Eagle's Breath
Making sure to stay close behind he responded regretfully to the request posed to him. "Very well, I have never met him personally. He was in a coma or something similar since I've arrived due to a recent battle. As far as I know he is not yet conscious, but is being kept in the infermery. If you still want I'll lead the way Miss Lee." Knowing this would likely be a hard blow, his voice was soft and pensive and his head hung in respect both for the comatose and the blue eyed fox.

RE: The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning: Path of Heroes
OOC: Just a note. Xavier is located in an RESTRICTED area, and can not be reached normally. Unless GreyJedi says otherwise.
Professor N'dare, Aurora and Blink
They were quite busy, as injured students were being tended to. N'dare was busy talking with Mental, and checking patients records. Lazer had come in, and had offered to assistt, and N'dare quickly put her to work, tending to the least injured students first.
A few moments, and a touch from Lazer, sent many of the students quickly on their way back out of the infirmary. Lazer simply smiled, as she would gently check on each student, her silent partner opting to stand watch in the background. He really didnt have much he could do within the Infirmary, so he opted to stay hidden within the shadows, keeping a keen eye on things happening within the area, and around the mansion as well.
N'dare also was hard at work, having various bots repaing the minor damage done to the mansion. Most of the major damage was confined to the areas of the Restricted Infirmary section. THUNDER, was busy, attending to Hermes request. N'dare would need to hold a meeting with the other instructors, about actions would need to be taken next.
Aurora and Blink, quite happy for Lazers assistance, took care of the more seriously injured students, while they waited for N'dare and Lazer.

Karra chuckled softly, after she introduced Bad Boy to the new person, Jacub. She left Sage to deal with Wind weapon, and the other kid, who had not said anything, plus another who came running up as well.
She lead Jacub into the main waiting area, and gestured. "Have a seat. Might be a bit, before one of the teachers show up." she then offered a small smile. "You probably had a long trip. Would you like anything to eat or drink, while we wait?" she asked? Her earpiece would keep her well informed on any other going ons, while they waited.
She walked over, and sat down, in a large overstuffed chair. "So...what brough you here?" she asked.

Jacub Alexander
Jacub smiled as
Karra
chuckled and started off into the mansion. She led him into a waiting room and offered him a seat.
"Have a seat. Might be a bit, before one of the teachers show up."
He sat down in a comfy looking chair. Jacub looked around at the big waiting room, unusually he thought, he and Karra seemed to be the only people in there, except for one other girl. She looked to be a few years older then Jacub.
"Thanks, Karra, I really appreciate it. This place looks amazin." He smiled at her, his cheeks staying a light shade of pink.
"You probably had a long trip. Would you like anything to eat or drink, while we wait?"
He shook his head. "No thank you." Karra walked over and sat down in a big comfy looking chair.
"So...what brought you here?"
Jacub thought back to everything that he could think. He didn't know where to start. "Well, I'm not too sure where to start. Uh..." He thought of his ex-girlfriend and his parents. How they had been on a trip. "Well, you see. My ex-girlfriend, my parents and me all were on a vacation. School was really hectic and my parents saw that me and Jenny needed to get away. So they treated us." Jacub smiled quickly and then his face turned into a look of gloom.
"While we were on the trip it was mine and Jenny's anniversary, so I decided to treat us to a nice date. I found a wonderful place, real close to where my family and I was stayin. We had a real nice time and everything but on our way back something happened, somethin where my powers came out, I had to use them to save Jenny, I honestly didn't even know I had em. Next thing I know, I am being banished from my parents hotel room and Jenny don't want nothin to do with me."
Jacub glanced down at his hand and clenched his jaw. "I was out on the streets with this here duffle bag and what ever I could fit in it. I was on my own for the first time in my life. I met someone at a shelter that told me about the academy. I made it here as soon as possible." Jacub gave Karra a weak smile. "Maybe if you sit in with Professor Xavier you can hear the whole story. Believe me there is a lot more to it." Jacub smiled at her and blushed.
"So what's your power, your specialty, if you will?" he chuckled and waited for her answer.
