Sergio Marciano
Aboard the Black Dagger

Sergio heard clatter above - the crew boarding, possibly - and realized that he had precious little time to find a hiding spot. In his haste, he ducked back into the weapons closet. He didn't plan to stay there wrong, but he'd be fine until later, when he could sneak into the cargo area. There (if all went well) he could easily find a place to hide...

Henry Page
The Black Dagger

"I hope there's no hard feelings between us? You've since...recovered, I hope?" It was Kate, with her hand out. Henry looked at her, a little surprised.

"No hard feelings at all, Kate. I'm surprised you took the pistol that well, myself."

He shook her hand, resisting the urge to bow and kiss it. Wouldn't that be foolish? Instead, he gave her a warm, friendly smile, and tried to remember that impressing her would only bring him trouble from the crew. Or so he thought.

"And other than some less-than-memorable memories, I'm fine." Henry looked about the ship, as if making sure no one was watching. "Moore, however, won't be, once word gets out."

First Mate Maccus

Shipwreck, Atlantic

He read the piece of paper twice over to make sure he had read it right. "Of course we should," he answered Clanker and then turned on his heel to walk back out of the Captain's cabin. But before he left he told Clanker; "Keep searching for any more documents pertaining to this armada and/or the pirate we're after." The hammerhead shark First Mate made his away across the deck to where he had left the Captain and the survivors. When he arrived he saw all but one had chosen death over servitude aboard the Dutchman.

He took a glance at the new crewmember before stepping up to the Captain and produced the paper for him to read.

IC: Turtle, Cotton, Cotton's parrot
The Black Dagger

"How did I ever get roped inta doin' this...?" Turtle muttered as he climbed over the edge of the ship. He had been recruited way back on Tortuga to be the pirate to climb down the side of the ship and pushed the anchor into place. Now, it seems, that was his job for the rest of his time aboard the Dagger.

The ugly Scotsman rolled over the edge and landed on the deck. He was completely soaked. The spray of the water got him every time.

"Damn anchor..." he said as he got to his feet. He began wringing the water out of his clothes when the parrot flew overhead and pooped on him. He looked upward. "Damn bird..."

The bird flew across the deck and landed on Cotton's shoulder.

Mr. Cotton was staring out at the open sea ahead of them. He was taking in deep breaths. He loved the smell of the open ocean. This was where he belonged. He reached around and patted the parrot on it's head.

IC: Robert Moore
The Black Dagger

Robert walked next to the railing and stared out at the sea. He didn't even realized who he was standing next to. He gestured to the water.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Robert glanced over to see Cotton and his parrot. He cursed his positioning. The few times he had spoken to Cotton he could never understand what the parrot was saying.

As Kate

"No hard feelings at all, Kate. I'm surprised you took the pistol that well, myself."

Kate laughed. "Apparently I didn't take the pistol as well as you think...otherwise I wouldn't have kneed you in the groin."

"Moore, however, won't be, once word gets out."

Kate tilted her head in puzzlement. "What's Moore's deal?"

Henry Page
The Black Dagger

A grim smile played across Henry's face. Moore had been a help with the supplies, there was no doubting that. But people didn't change, at least not according to Henry. Once a traitor, always a traitor.

"There's a reason I was stuck in Ponte De Leste, and that reason is Moore. He was the treacherous dog that had me and my Captain left high and dry."

He'd been positively amiable about it; that was the problem. Moore had seen nothing wrong with letting the old establishment go.

IC: Elizabeth Swann

The trip to Ponte de Leste had turned out to be shorter than anyone could have expected, although Elizabeth certainly wasn’t complaining. While she preferred being in port to sailing, she was only too happy to escape from the British troops in this case. Although they had a terrible sense of timing—they might have had the decency to arrive at a later hour. To her list of grievances with the British navy, she could now add a potentially perfect morning disturbed by their arrival.

"Put yer backs into it, ye mangy mutts! The Brits be breathin' down our backs. To the seas, to the seas!" Barbossa yelled after they had boarded the ship. Will went to help the crew while Elizabeth found a place along the railing to watch the land fade slowly into the distance.

In the end, the rapidly diminishing Ponte de Leste was not half so exciting as Will Turner, working with the rest of the crew to make the ship sail straight and true. He looked much more the part of a pirate nowadays, Elizabeth reflected. He rarely heeded her admonitions to brush his hair, and certainly hadn’t today, given their hurried flight from the inn. The ocean wind stirred it now, and it would have flown in his face were it not for the scrap of cloth tying it back. He looked every inch the scallywag, and Elizabeth smiled to think that this was the same man who had once scoffed at the thought of even associating with pirates. What a tale their lives had turned into.

As if sensing she was thinking of him, Will looked over at her and smiled. Elizabeth returned a grin and a wave. She knew they had all just narrowly escaped a bundle of trouble from the British, but somehow it didn’t seem to matter what happened, as long as she and Will were together.

Elizabeth knew there was work to be done — supplies to be tallied, documents to be updated, maybe even some letters to write — but she allowed herself just a few more minutes at the ship’s rail before taking up her responsibilities. After all, when someone was looking as good as Will was looking today, well…it would be a shame not to look.

IC: Davy Jones

Jones gave a deep laugh as he wiped off his sword, only one man had joined his crew, just one man.

"And what would your name be, lad?" Jones asked the last man standing.

Before the crew member could answer, Maccus approached Jones, revealing to him a sheet of paper. He read the contents as his eyes grew wider and wider. He clutched the paper in his hand and grinned evily at Maccus, "Tell the crew to get back to the ship and make ready to depart. We have to get to the horn before this fleet can disappear into the Pacific."

Jones paused for a moment, "What are you waiting for?" He turned to the new crewmember, "Well, lad, welcome to the crew."

First Mate Maccus

Shipwreck, Atlantic

"Aye, Capt'n!" and promptly turned to shout orders to the crew. Some of them had been in the middle of plundering the ship and took what they had found before disappearing to reappearing aboard the Dutchman. Maccus took a glance back at the Captain and the newest crewmember before ordering the master of arms to stay behind and escort the new crewmember over to the Dutchman once the Captain was done with him. Maccus himself disappeared into the railing of the shipwreck.

Guess Tog aint playing anymore

Btw, I found out how old Davy Jones is. Lol... he's ancient! Anyway...

According to both AWE and the book Pirates' Code/Guidelines by Joshemee Gibbs (by Disney books), the First Brethern Court bound Calypso in her human form before the Hellenic society of Greece was founded. Davy Jones had shown the First Brethern Court how to bind her. So that makes him pretty much over 2000 years old. shock

OOC: I guess I'm changing that a little, I was imagining him to be around 300 years old. I know some of my continuity doesn't fit (the Caribbean was discovered in the 1400s), but I sacrificed that to tell a good story. I also thought that the first Bretheren court occured around the 1500s.

One other thing, Davy Jones is Scottish. tongue

Lol, yeah I know. I asked myself that too. "If he's that old, then how come he's Scottish, has Davy Jones for a name and wears modern cloths when he reverts and shouldn't he have a row boat instead of a galleon?" But this is Disney we're talking about here. Nothing EVER makes sense!

So i did a little research on the Brethern themselves. The first court, in real life, gathered in 1640 somethin. Now THAT makes more sense and has Davy be a couple centuries old.
