Nestor was too tired to deal with a conspiracy theorist's ravings, and so he decided to shut the Reinhardt for a while.
"You know what? We'll talk of this tomorrow. Right now we're all tired. Everyone, go relax."
This meant everyone - Miles, the Texan, the other newbies, all of them. He didn't want to deal with anything right now. The rush of the gunfight had finally died down, and Nestor wanted to go right to sleep.
And then he remembered something. Red Jones - a name he'd heard before had, for some reason, sprung to his mind. But why? They'd met all of two times before, so why'd that name come up now?
Nestor shuffled to his quarters, going to the comm. He still had Red's frequency. The old man punched it in, and waited. The screen flickered to life. There was Red Jones.
"Red Jones - how's life been treating you?"

Red Jones
Red Jones had just slipped a cigarette into his mouth when he heard the familiar jingle from his right, which meant someone was calling him. Lighting the cigarette as he slid across the room in his rolly chair to the comm, Red hit the accept button and waited to see who the caller was. An older man looked back at him from his screen, someone who was very familiar to Red, although he couldn't put his finger on who it was.
"Red Jones - how's life been treating you?"
The man's voice and demeanor made Red remember instantly who he was.
"Nestor, was it?" Red asked as he blew out a long cloud of smoke. "Never thought I'd hear from you again. How's that bounty you stole from me treating you?"
Red laughed, taking another hit of his cigarette.
"I'm just pulling your chain. That was just a small fry, anyways. I'm doing pretty well, I just dropped by here to see if there were any good leads, and I just got here about 10 hours ago. Man, was it a long trip."
"So what made you decide to call after... how long has it been? Three years? Wanted to steal another bounty?"
Red laughed and took another drag of his cigarette, talking to Nestor was probably the best thing that happened to him in the 5+ minutes he'd been awake.
