Rules
There are not many rules as this is one of those games where you do what ever you want but there are a few so here they are.

--No Godmodding - except the fact that you got shot and killed its not too difficult to comprehend.
--Friendly Fire OFF! - please refrain from shooting your own men unless its unavoidable.
--Have fun - everyone knows that a game with out any fun is usless and as such does not belong so lets all put on our game faces.

Thats about it the rules now a little about dieing, when you die you are aloud to make another character in the same Regiment BUT there is a limit to how many people you can have only 3, so try not to get killed to often.

OOC:Well wiere going to start now new members are alowed but only as Privates and a note some parts may be non-canon as there is not very much known about the battles.

Battle odd's of Success:10/1 Covenant Most likely going to lose
Combatants:17th Marine Regiment,105th ODST Division, 77th Marine Regiment
UNSC outnumber the Covenant 2-to-1

2531, April 27 Harvest Colony

The pelicans were every droping to the planets surface from the Midsummer's-Night, they were the most important part of the Retaking of Harvest. The 17th Marine Regiment was the first ones to fly in, the first ones to engage the covenant onslaught, the first to witness the atrocities of the Covenant.Sargeant Hawkins flew in with two other regiments one and a half were left. They were pinned down inside a old, bunker not destroyed by the Covenant, there they found a array of Warthogs and Scorpions that were still in working order. Now though the Covenant have entered the base and there is a three way battle over dominance. The third combatant is a array of drones that could set fire to a Marine in seconds, their oragin is unknown but what is known is that they are powerful enough to kill a battalion of Covenant Elites.

TAG:The 17th Marine Regiment

2531, April 28 Harvest Colony

The 105th ODST division was known to 'Jump Feet First into Hell' but they were not prepared for the power of the Covenant Hierachy. They were second to go in to face the Covenant only to be met with legions of Grunts, the Covenant were slaughtered under the fire power of the ODST's like a fly to a hand. The battle above was not much better with at least 1/3 of the UNSC Warships already destroyed. The Covenant arrived in waves of hundreds with at least two Elites(a Gold and a Red) leading them. The 105th are on the move with at least one-thousand ODST's in the entire Division left, they travel by Warthogs, Scorpions, and Pelicans with constant attacks to Covenant camps. This will be the hardest battle the UNSC has ever fought, even with the UNSC outnumbering them.

TAG:105th ODST Division

OOC:Well there you go you may begin.

IC: Sergeant Santiago

"Move it Column A!" Sergeant James Santiago yelled to the first column of armor. Once the 105th Division had landed all hell had broke loose between the Helljumpers and the Covenant forces occupying the surrounding the area. The Midsummer's Night sent down a company of armor to help the 105th get the job done. Twelve Scorpions and nearly four dozen Warthogs made up the company with three Scorpions and a dozen Warthogs for each Column...A.B.C. and D Column. So far at least two Scorpions were blown to small metal bits and at least half a dozen Warthogs were either destroyed or inoperable. What the Helljumpers needed was air support which would be hard to get.

Even from the planet, the Sergeant knew that the Navy was getting its ass kicked by the Covenant War Fleet. Getting air support would be impossible because of the battle going on up in the space above Harvest.

"Sir, another squadron of Banshee's coming up on our left flank!" a Private said.

"I see them. Column B get some fire over there!" the Sergeant yelled. A few rounds of Scorpion main gun power and some rapid LAAG power suppressed the incoming Banshee's.

Ever since the Division had landed, its was like death city. Many of the officers of the ODST group were wounded or killed. In Santiago's company he didn't even know if the lieutenant's or captain were alive so the Sergeant had pretty much taken control of the whole deal. Hopefully he would get some type of order of something because for know if it kept up like this, bad things were going to happen. Already, communications were all messed up and a lot of Marines were scared making it harder for the Sergeant to try to keep things up. Even though Sergeant Santiago wasn't dead yet...he was in a living hell...

TAG: ODST's

OOC: Finnerson, since your a PFC you mineaswell be in my squad okay? Since there's no other ODSt's so far...Thanks.

A long burst of blue plasma eggs zipped over finnersons head, he winced and crouched further, firing off three bursts from the battle rifle in response, even though he could not be certain of the shooter. There was too much smoke and fire to do anything except fire ahead. Hopefulyl that applied to the Covenant as well.

Another burst of blue plasma, and finnerson went to ground. The ground had absorbed several plasma shots before, and was noticeably warm, even through the armor.

Blue plasma probably means an Elite, the thought resounded in Finnersons head. He crawled forward a few feet until a warthog roard by, its Gauss cannon barking metronically as it zipped into the fray. A dozen covenant guns fired on it. Most went wide, but a few blasts sparked against its armor.

Finnerson took the opportunity. With those Covenant soldiers distracted, he got up and ran crazylegs style for ten yards before flopping down again into a small depression in the earth. He was nearly shot by two other ODST troopers, but they checked their target and Finnerson kept breathing.

Finnerson wedged himself against the side of the depression, and saw that the ground near the top had been crystalized and burnt from multiple plasma strikes. He reached behind himself, drawing out his Combat knife. Flipping the polished side towards himself, he slowly raised it to get a reflection of the enemy ahead.

He had to jerk his hand back almost immediately as several green bolts arrowed towards him, toasting the blackened earth another shade of midnight.

"Five grunts." Finnerson said to his comrades. He was about to say more when he noticed that there was an NCO in the depression as well. Sergeant Santiago.

"I say again, Five grunts sir. They're in some sort of shallow trench. Negative on Elites or Jackals."

Sergeant Hawkins

Hawkins darted from cover to cover, dodging fire from the enemy. He had thought it bad enough when he and the rest of his regiment had been pinned down inside this bunker by the Covenant. Then they were attacked by these drones. Now a horrible three-way battle had begun. His radio buzzed loudly.

Hawkins crouched behind a partially destroyed wall and pulled out his radio. It was probably one of the the 2 engineers that were working on the base's motor pool.

"Go ahead."

"Sarge, we've got all the Warthogs and Scorpions up and running. Problem is, we don't have very much ammo for them."

Hawkins swore and pulled out his pistol as one of the drones appeared from around a corner. He emptied his clip into it, blowing it into pieces.
"Any contact with The Midsummer's?"

"Negative. We can't count on any support from orbit."

Hawkins shook his head wearily, glad that the drones and the Elites were keeping each other busy fighting, giving the Marines a little bit of rest.

"All right. Try to get a burst transmission out to any of the the other ground forces. ODSTs, another regiment, anyone. We need backup if we're going to survive past the next day in here."

"Roger!"

Hawkins prayed that some marines, any marines, would answer the call and come pull him from the fire. They wouldn't last much longer.

Sergeant Santiago

"Okay, I seem 'em!" the Sergeant said to the soldier next to him. He contacted one of the Scorpions "Scorpion number 7 take out the Covie position with the grunts to your right!"

"Rodger that sir," the gunner said. A shell propelled at amazing speed hit the trench and James saw several dead Grunts fly up into the air.

"Damn beautiful sight!" a marine yelled.

"Pretty colors..." another remarked.

At least the ODST's had some faith that the battle would go well. The had some confidence they just needed to use it against the Covenant if they were going to win.

"Finnerson, find a squad or two and bring them to me. There's a Covenant bunker up ahead. I'll order the Scorpion's to put 'a shell or two into it then me, you and the rest of the leathernecks will storm it and blow it. You got that soldier?"

"Wilco, Sergeant!"
Finnerson crouch-ran out of the depression and towards the follow-on infantry companies. With the scorpions booming their Main guns all around, the COvenant fire had dimmed considerably. He flagged down a squad.

"You're with me. Got a bunker to bust. On me!"

The squad fell in behind Finnerson and they proceeded back to the depression. One of the men took a blasma shot in the left arm on the way, and he rolled about in agony, howling and clutching at blackened, melted skin on his upper arm. It smoked sickeningly.

"Corpsman!" Finnerson shouted, and then rolled back into the depression with the sergeant.

"One squad as ordered, sir."

IC: James Finnerson

FInnerson Pulled the pin on the smoke grenade. As he drew back, movement caught the corner of his eye.

about 6 panicking grunts were rushing to the rear. They ahd broken cover, but were intelligent enough to stay behidn the bunker, in defilade to the Heavy weapons being poured at it. An Elite encouraged them.

"Troops! TROOPS!" Finnerson screamed, slamming the pin back into the smoke grenade. He brought up the Battle Rifle and began firing off three-round bursts.

The grunt in the lead bent over abruptly and fell to the ground. The Elite, obviously an inexperienced one, stopped and sought the source of the fire. Finnerson pasted him square in the chest. His Shield sizzled, and the elite then decided to go to ground, firing his plasma rifle wildly in the general direction of the incoming fire.

By this time other ODST troopers had joined in, and in a matter of seconds all the grunts were reduced to neon-blue paste. They barely got a shot off in return. The Elite tried to break for cover, but a sniper caved in his skull with a perfectly led shot. The Elite went head over teakettle from the imact and lay still, quietly pulsing purple ichor into the war-shattered dust.

Finnerson plucked up the Smoke grenade, and yanked the pin again, waiting for the word from the Sergeant.
