OOG: Yes, roll 1d20+5, and if you reach 17 or more, you take only 1/2 damage. If you roll 16 or lower, it's full damage.

OOG: Since Saint isn't here, I might as well provide shepherding for this round.
Already gone-
Yuul: Friendly fire in a big way. 24+ damage, save for half
Mitth: 8 points of damage, save for half
Krayt: 12 damage, save for half, run away
guitar: Whiff with a 3
Ktala: Whiff with a 3
Cryo: Whiff with a 3
That just leaves Xan and Livi, with a good three or so days to come up with a plan, though admittedly, they're acting before Celbrandir, so no reacting to the fireball until things go up in smoke.
Mtth, for future reference: Spell Compendium, page 18... "Aura Against Flame". With Trigger-Happy in the party, you might wish to consider it.

OOG: Well, you rolled a 3 on your attack roll, which is very low, and will probably not be successful (the roll being so slow that "whiff" is the sound effect I use for a swing that hits nothing but air). Especially considering you're supposed to roll a d20, not a d6 (as you did on that attack roll). I mean, we can keep your roll, or you can roll 1d20+11 and see what happens.

No Yuul. No one was rushing into it... well maybe Cyro was.
You just splashed the fireball a little too close to the group. Remember to always make your drop point as far away from any party members as you can. And if you're not sure where anyone is, ask the DM to clarify.

OOG: Could have sworn I discussed this and recommended you get the Fiery Burst feat in lieu of spending an inefficent amount of gold on a shoddy wand to serve as your ineffective attack. I had assumed you were doing that since you got rid of your wand, though it seems that I was wrong, my apologies for the assumption. Disregard my statement that you roll another die. Though now that I look at it, you somehow have one feat too many (1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th = 4 feats, Heighten Spell is free). Removing Dodge from your sheet, since it hasn't been factored in. One of these days, I am totally going to be completely accurate when I do this. Perhaps it's time to take the final list and run through it to check every number that I didn't take care of.
No, you cannot change your square. In the future, learn the Area of Effect of all your spells and visualize them on the map.
And no, you cannot reroll, because your link is right here.

DM OOG: So what'd I miss?
I won't belabor the points raised since experience is going to be a hard teacher on this one for all concerned, but a couple of things:
(1) My general policy on changing your moves is as follows: unless what you're trying to do can't be done under the rules of the game, you're bound to the consequences of your choices. Thus Cryo was able to alter his actions, but Yuul wasn't. If we don't abide by this policy I think the whole exercise becomes meaningless, and let's face it: friendly fire sometimes happens, and people make mistakes ... and have to live with those choices. Why not use this as a hook for your character roleplaying, guys? It doesn't always have to be sweetness and light between all party members.
(2) As Mitth says, if you're not sure where people are, refer to me or LightWarden. Your first port of call on this subject, though, should be the map that I put out with every round.
Just waiting on Livi-Wan and Xan, now; I propose an update late 21 May/early 22 May depending on how much progress Darth Real Life has made in his continuing campaign against me. Said update will, of course, be extra crispy.

Skadi
So, Zanaek's yells confirmed that the hellhounds were not summons, and therefore the circle of Torm would be little protection against them. Seeing as this meant that there was now little reason to bunch together, Skadi moved forward to engage the closest creature.
"Watch and learn, Grahorn." she snarled, dropping into a combat position and getting ready to dispense Tyr's justice. Brandishing her sword, the ex-pirate felt the divine energy building up inside her, getting ready to harm or heal as she directed. "Tyr helps those who help themselves."
Some of the yelling from before caught up with her brain.
"And less of the cursing." she added.
[TAG CmdrMitthrawnuruodo, Any]
OOC: Move to square H6, attack Hellhound I7 using Crusader's strike, expending the maneuver for the encounter.
Attack roll: 1d20+9=21, damage: 1d8+4=7
If attack is successful, heal 1d6+3=9 points of damage to Celbrandir from the maneuver, and 2 points from the stance.
Spiritual weapon continues attacking hobgoblin C7
Attack: 1d20+8=16
Damage: 1d8+2=8
