Ace Combat 7: Heaven's War
|
In the year 2045, the Corporate War finished, and there was relative peace over the Planet. But 50 years later, and another country has appeared, masking its name and location. It has extensive military power of unkown origin, threatening to overthrow the entire Planet.
All the nations of the known world have decided to forget past conflicts and save their homes from this new tyrant. As they begin to assemble, rumors of an unidentified tube rising out of the sea are confirmed by agents employed by each Country. This 'Tube' is known only as 'Aerial'.
The forces of the UNOH (United Nations Of Heaven) assemble to take the fight to these newcomers, who have already occupied all the coastal regions surrounding the Aerial. As UNOH attacks from all platforms, all but one of the agents sent to find out and observe the Aerial were recorded deceased simultaneously by their trackers. There is a Strike Team sent to find and recover the last Agent, aided by his tracker, they assemble in the briefing room...
Rules:
1: No Cussing, Swearing Etc
2: No God Moddding
3: Not too much OOC
4: Use OOC, IC and TAG rules please.
5: Send all CS's to me or an appointed Co-GM and wait to be approved before posting.
6: No undermining the GM or Co-GM in their actions that affect the storyline.
7: No killing of other playes unless consented by that player and the GM.
8: No controlling other players characters.
9: Please post as much as you can, we want to keep this active.

Personality: Laaht is generally friendly but can turn to ccmmanding tone if the battle or comm chat gets out of hand. He is much like Snake Pit on Ace Combat 6
Plane;
Role: Fighter
Build: Modified Su-47 Berkut 
Colour/Pattern: The Entire Plane is Stark Black, no desgins other than the Emmerian Symbol on the Left Fin, Black Tinted Cockpit Glass & Black Smoke.
Plane Nickname: Charcol
Adaptions: Wings fold up the plane, the tips reaching just next to the air intake, Lights of tips are both white and the Trusters emit a white colour also. Different weapon capabilities.
Weapons: The Standary missiles, XMAA is the main secondary weapon, but he ocasionaly uses XAGM
Wingman: None, he refused to work with anyone else.
Skill: Maneuvering
Also, the updates will be from the GM (me) but i will say IC: Lantern (the AWACS we will have with us other than the first mission, where the commands will come from my guy)

Personality: Military photographers know that April doesn't bother to take much time out of her work as a pilot unless by prior arrangement, if she spots one while on duty she may give a quick scowl for the camera but that would be all. But she knows that pilots have a certain charm about them and will let them do their job and answer their questions, provided they can work around her schedule. April had also listened to the radio chatter from other fighter squadrons, such as the Razgriz, and shakes her head at their whining. Her attitude is they joined the military to do a job, don't take the pay if you don't like the work and if your commanders are corrupt, an instance that does happen enough in their line of work, send a missile their way.
Plane: F/A-18E Super Hornet, but April has also flown in B2 bombers and is a qualified gunship pilot so can fly helicopters as well.
Role: Fighter
Build: The F/A-18E/F aircraft are 4.2 feet longer than earlier Hornets, have a 25% larger wing area, and carry 33% more internal fuel which will effectively increase mission range by 41% and endurance by 50%. The Super Hornet also incorporates two additional weapon stations. This allows for increased payload flexibility by mixing and matching air-to-air and/or air-to-ground ordnance. The aircraft can also carry the complete complement of "smart" weapons, including the newest joint weapons such as JDAM and JSOW.
The Super Hornet can carry approximately 17,750 pounds (8,032 kg) of external load on eleven stations. It has an all-weather air-to-air radar and a control system for accurate delivery of conventional or guided weapons. There are two wing tip stations, four inboard wing stations for fuel tanks or air-to-ground weapons, two nacelle fuselage stations for Sparrows or sensor pods, and one centerline station for fuel or air-to-ground weapons. An internal 20 mm M61A2 Vulcan cannon is mounted in the nose.
Although 41% interdiction mission range increase may be the most notable F/A-18E improvement, the ability to recover aboard with optimal reserve fuel and a load of precision strike weapons, is of equal importance. The growth potential of the F/A-18E is more important to allow flexible employment strategies in future years. If an electronically scanned array antenna or another installation-sensitive sensor or weapon system becomes available, the F/A-18E has the space, power and cooling to accommodate it. Although the more recent F/A-18C aircraft have incorporated a modicum of low observables technology, the F/A-18E was designed from the outset to optimize this and other survivability enhancements.
Colour/Pattern: April uses the bold colors and emblems of the VF 103 despite the squadron being decommissioned while she was still in high school. The Jolly Rogers have always displayed some of the most recognizable squadron markings in the world: sinister white skull-and-crossbones on all-black tails, with gold bands wrapped around the tip of the tail fins, and black bands with gold chevrons (known as vagabonds strips from the Crusader days of VF-84) run down the sides of the forward fuselage.
Plane Nickname: Pirate
Adaptions: The Navy was being generous just to allow April to fly using the VF 103, so she hasn't even thought to modify her plane any further.
Weapons: April usually uses the XMAA as a stand off weapon however for special occasions she flies with a fuel air bomb, seeing it as a weapon of intimidation much like that President.
Wingman: Whoever her commanders assign her.
Skill: April is best skilled at missile runs on ground targets, and she is decent at dogfighting but chooses to avoid them if possible.

She is from the country that were the bad guys in Shattered Skies, has little patience for anything that isn't related to killing and even less for moralizing about war. If she isn't an antagonist (and not like the fabulous Yellow 13, more Hamilton or the Belkans) then she is at the very least prickly. But nah, it'll be fine so long as no one talks like one of the Sand Island pilots.
