Hello and welcome to my RPG
In the year 4000, a man named Roboute Guilliman wrote a book of the code, the Codex Astartes, for a group of men who followed the teachings of the great Emperor. They were the space marines.
At first they all fought the alien heathens under one title, the Imperial Guard, but over the Years new factions began to appear. The Blood Angels, the Blood Ravens, The Grey Knights, The Mortifactors and The all mighty Ultramarines.
All were loyal servants of the emperor and all followed the teachings in the Codex Astartes, to an extent.
The Ultramarines, however, followed it to the letter, training their warriors to the literal peak of fitness. They were the finest warriors the universe had ever seen, and were unanimously feared by all aliens.
Uriel Ventris, Brother-Captain of the fourth company of Ultramarines, has requested a group of newly trained Ultramarines to aid in the attack of Chaos space marines, vile humans who aid the aliens and rebel against the emperor.
This is where you come in:
Your may play as an Ultramarine, a Chaos space marine or a free lance bounty hunter.
Equipment:
All ultramarines are equipped with A bolter and A Chain sword, as well as blue and gold power armor.
Chaos space marines use an assortment of weapons (you may use any weapon that you can think of, within reason, no super death rocket launchers that kill everyone on the battle field.)
they also ride dragon-alien mounts, but it is optional.
Rules:
No god modeing, trolling, blah blah blah
GM's word is law, so don't fight our words.

Name: Cypher
Age: Unknown (Alive since the Horus Heresy).

Faction: The Fallen [Renegade split off the Dark Angels]
WOC: Space Marine Bolter Pistol and Plasma Pistol.
Personality: Cypher's motives and Personality are compeletly unknown. He is always hunted by the Dark Angels with zeal even greater than that reserved for 'normal' Fallen. Although the Dark Angels believe that they can only gain forgiveness for their actions by "redeeming" all of the Fallen, others privy to the full tale believe that Cypher may have another answer. These people believe that Cypher's seemingly random appearances conceal a path that is slowly leading towards Holy Terra. They also point to the fact that Cypher carries a sword, yet he never draws it. This could be the sword of Primarch El'Jonson, broken in half and then lost during his final battle with the traitor Luther. One theory states that if Cypher manages to enter the presence of the Emperor of Mankind, the sword will repair itself and the Fallen Angels will be forgiven for their transgressions. Another theory states that it is the black blade of Luther and Cypher wishes to use the sword to slay the dying Emperor's mortal body, thus completing the Star Child cycle or defeating the Imperium.
Bio: Cypher is said to be one of The Fallen. At the end of the Horus Heresy, Lion El'Jonson returned to Caliban to find Luther turned to the forces of Chaos. El'Jonson landed and took up the fight against Luther while the Dark Angels fleet bombarded the planet from above. Eventually, Luther defeated El'Jonson but when he did, he realised his mistakes and collapsed, unwilling to fight any more. The Chaos Gods realised their chosen had failed and sent a vast Warp Storm that sucked up the traitor Dark Angels and spread them across time and space.
Cypher was one of these Fallen Angels, but no one actually knows his true name. He appears randomly throughout the galaxy, but is rumoured to be moving towards Terra. He is famous for his pistol abilities, being able to fire precisely with every shot, even when using two weapons, no matter the chaos of the battle around him. His characteristic combination of Bolt Pistol and Plasma Pistol are known throughout the galaxy as every Segmentum has rumours of Cypher-like people. It is likely that Cypher has appeared in every Segmentum over time, although a good deal of the rumours of his appearance are probably other people in similar clothing.

WOC: Power sword that he created after the former 4th company captains sword was broken on Pavonis

Personality: up tight, anti personal in a sense, he is really only open to his best friend from training named Pasaneus.
Bio: Uriel was promoted to the rank of captain after Idaeus, his former captain and mentor, was killed fighting the Chaos Space marines.
He was first assigned to defend a man named Ario Barzano on the planet pavonis, but was pulled into a war with the evil Eldar, who planned on releasing the greatest evil of all time, the nightbringer. After uriel defeated the creature, his mind was never the same, during the heat of battle he would go into horrible, bloody rages that would leave the battlefield drenched in the blood of those unlucky enough to get in the way of his bolter and power sword.
Soon after that battle, Uriel and the 4th company were sent to defend a planet that was soon to overrun with a Hive species of aliens known as Tyranids. He truly showed his metal during this war, which leads us to his present predicament, the Chaos space
