to be honest Dave I kinda discounted media stuff where I wasn't named or was just part of the background, you could of added this  if you had got the earlier train

Ok - quick update
So I went along for the 'run through show' the other week and it was awesome !!!!! We weren't allowed to talk to the other wage earners about our jobs - so no one could claim fix.
We had a practise game early on the afternoon where a member of the show stepped in as the 'contestant' and we played through a game - which I won (hurrah) but didn't win any money for it (boo)
Then it was onto the 'real' game - including a studio audience (scary) mainly OAPS - they must of been looking for Countdown :tired unfortunatley I didn't win that game (and the £1000) but the day was great fun and Nick Hancock (the host) was really friendly - I don't want to go too much into the show as I want it to be a surprise
So that was the other week - this evening I got a phonecall and they want me back to be on the REAL TO BE AIRED SHOW woohoo filming on 18th July (don't know when it'll be aired yet but be sure I'll tell EVERYONE)

I'm in contact with the ticket department and hopefully I'll be able to get hold of 4 tickets to the recording. We're just waiting to see if it's the morning or afternoon. If I get them, it'll be first come first served for the spare seats

Found out today that I'm on the 3pm show on Wednesday 18th July (there are three shows that day)
The filming is at Yorkshire Studio's - Leeds

Been to that studio several times before (Countdown Audience )
There is street parking around the area (north of the studios)
I'll be going by car, but coming up from the south so can't pick anyone up from north of Leeds.

Would be great to make a day of this. I'll be going first thing in the morning cos I used to live in Leeds and would like to look around the city centre again. I'll gladly meet up with people at the station if they are arriving by train (let me know the times you will arrive) and we can have a pretty good day out! Hopefully Spike will buy us all a celebratory pint afterwards
Maybe a game of bowling or something as well?
