Just thought I'd post that the FF-UK North by Northwest team (thanks to Martina for arranging it) are heading to China for a little bit of culture, via the talents of Gorillaz and others.
"Based on the ancient Chinese legend of the Monkey King, this epic journey of enlightenment is retold as a magical opera featuring over 70 musicians, singers, martial artists and acrobats.The performance is directed by Chen Shi-Zheng, with music by Damon Albarn and design and animation by Jamie Hewlett - the artists behind the award-winning band Gorillaz."

just meaning to say that lo! the tickets have arrived and the opera is scheduled to last for about 90 minutes so we should all be able to return hom within the space of one day.
also picked fairly cheap mexican place at piccadilly gardens today www.barburrito.co.uk/ which we don't have to go to, strictly, but could, you see

So what time are we meeting on Monday? I'll be happy with whatever time you two decide, because I won't be able to go online during day tomorrow when Martina is usually on. So decide between two of you, I'll probs go to Manchester earlier anyways and have a little walk.
