I have this feeling this would be one meet too many ... especially August will see the Newcastle based BBQ, then week after Matthew Street festival (Liverpool) then the last weekend would be this.
But!
But!
There is a reason. I know some people chatted about going to Blackpool, seeing the lights, the game machines and the nice dancing ladies (think that was Sie). But there is another reason now! Oh yes there is!
David Tennant to Switch on Blackpool Illuminations!!!
Check here for details. Anyone feel a trip up to Blackpool would be worth it then?

Then you get to see three places in the NW in one hit - Liverpool (cap of culture), Southport (cap of old people and seagulls) and Blackpool (cap of slot machines and donkey rides).
