Oooooh, blimey! 
Well, thank you very much and thanks to those who nominated and voted for me- I just hope I can do a good job and your vote was worth it! 
And thanks to my fellow nominee Ven, too, for his contribution in this whole process.
Once I'm sorted with what I'm doing I'll get cracking with things and hopefully we can get the North back on track.

I know some people have been a bit unhappy with how things have been, so I'd like people to let me know (either on here, or by PM if you don't want to do so publically) what you'd like to see happen in the next year, or what you'd like to see changed or done differently. I can't promise that everything can be addressed, but it'd just be nice to know what's on people's minds.....it'd also be nice to know what people are happy with too, it doesn't all have to be negative!

I'd love to - I think York is out of the question for me as there isn't a direct transport link from North Cumbria to York to enable me to get there and back in a day comfortably without a journey via Newcastle of at least three hours each way with changes. I already have commitments for December so a stay over in York is probably out of the question.
Hopefully, I'll make the joint meet next year in Edinburgh, I'm only eight miles from the Scottish border so feel some affinity to FFUK Scotland! I met the Scottish CR, Jed1, and his wife in the autograph hall at Celebration Europe. What a nice couple.
