reading 'johnathan strange & mr norrell' at the moment and i'm recommending for those harry potter readers amongst you because this is like the adult version (a little bit, forgive me, susanna) of it, two magicians in the 19th century who strive to bring back practical magic to england. on top of everything it's set in the north (at least the bit i've read through so far) so i HAD to recommend it

I recommend There Will be Blood. Make it your top priority film to see this week.

If you haven't seen There Will be Blood yet (which by now you all should have done  ), then still go see it!!
But if you have (and well done to you), I also strongly recommend seeing Black Water. It's a great little film that has far more to offer then the likes of Rambo and the quite disappointing Be Kind, Rewind.

Well, I'm not the only one 
It was okay and had some very funny moments, but on the whole it was merely average at best. I'd rather people spend money on Black Water this week as it's far more deserving of your hard cash!
