FF-UK:NW - Chinese New Year on Sunday 10 Feb - meet?

Anyone up for a meet to Celebrate the Chinese New Year? Maybe we could do Manchester?

Location: Albert Square and Chinatown
Time: 12:30 - 18:00
KUNG HEI FAT CHOY!
Manchester welcomes the year of the rat with a glittering array of festivities including Dragon and Lion Dances, Kung Fu demonstrations, folk dance performances and stalls and workshops.
In time-honoured fashion, the spectacular Golden Dragon Parade leaves Albert Square at 12.30pm (approx) and winds its way towards Chinatown. Around the streets of Chinatown, there will be special stalls and fairground rides, plus the chance to sample the delights of the surrounding restaurants and oriental shops. The official celebrations end with a stunning firework finale at 6pm (approx).

Never done anything for Chinese New year before but I'm not really with it at the moment so I'll have to see where I'm at closer to the time

Seems Merseyrail and Northern Rail have plans against anyone in my area celebrating Chinese New Year - both the Northern Line (Liverpool to Southport) and the Southport to Manchester line on Northern Rail have bus replacement services all day on their lines, 10th Feb, which means unless I want a really long journey anywhere, I am stranded in Ainsdale! Meh!
