I want to say personally how happy I was to not have to make a drive for a fanforce event. But the fact I got invited to help not only fanforce but the 501st out means alot to me. You guys rock. I could have gone to C4 but to be quite honest, Id much rather be with all of you. I dont need to buy a million dollars worth of star wars stuff to know the my fellow fans make it worthwhile.
So give yourselves a round of applause and know how many costumes you make parades you walk or functions you attend I will do my best to take care of your needs. Thats what I am, Thats what I do. and I love taking care of the best group of friends ever.
I am a runner, a wrangler and will always be a handler. I will never be in the limelight but as long as your happy and healthy so am I.

Thank you beezel for being such an enourmous help at the Special Olympics event and all the events you "wrangle". 
It was great hanging out afterwards as well, even though we didn't get home until 2:30am.

have no fear beezel was there.
on saturday that is.
Thats right I made up for saturday since you guys couldnt be there.
and instead of being in costume I thought outside of the box.
I brought the lightsabers and costume to them.
I was only allowd a simple jedi cloak but still it sufficed. nothing complicated was allowed due to all the athletes disabilities.
but the lightsabers worked great. I got the cheap ones that werent spring loaded. No one poking an eye out. Some wore the cape and others enjoyed fighting with the lightsabers. but I did get to talk about all of us as well.
anyway one other thing I did was to get MY NAME IS stickers from staples and give everyone a lightside or dark side name. or a bounty hunter.
I used their first names or at times I called them by the characters. I let their personalities decide. needless to say I found one Darth Sidious and one Yoda. They were sisters from brooklyn. The youngest sister had a broken arm and was the quieter one. But still she fought like Yoda.
There was alot more things I could have done but to be frank I was literally shooting from the hip. It was an experiment that actually worked.
planning costume reversal days and the like can go along way to getting more fans in.

I was finally able to get the few pics I took off the camera. I also have a few movies, but I'm not sure how to share/post those yet.
Strawbary, if you have troubles with the Excelsior and/or Echo Base forums in the future, you can always go here to see the calendar. It's just on the main website so you should still be able to view it even if you have problems with the forum.
