There was a whole skit surrounding that fact. 
Fortunately, unlike that poor unfortunate fellow, I have not yet lost a leg to this tiger.

Ainsworth: Ah, well, it- it has… probably escaped from a zoo.
Pakenham-Walsh: Doesn't sound very likely to me.
Etc.
Then cue two men creeping around in a very dodgy tiger suit.

I had to let the tiger out of the pit because it was looking sad.
It also has a nasty flea infestation. I'm not saying where the fleas came from, but the only other person in the pit was JKM. You do the math.
