I'm an old school fan. I voted for tESB, mainly because it impacted on me more than any other of the SW films.
I will go in a limb and say that AotC nearly knocked ESB off it's perch as my favourite, but Dooku is no Lord Vader, if only for the fact that he has no tremendous secret like "No, I am your father!".

yes aotc was excellent and id vote for em both if possible, but rotj was an original and had the best story and revelations.

ESB is still the reigning champion for me.
AOTC isn't too bad though - at the moment I rate it equal 2nd with ANH (I'll have to see it a few more times before I can properly give its assessment).

ESB is still on the top, but only just. ANH was very good, but I still like the action sequences in ROTJ which ties it with AOTC for second place.

I never thought I'd commit what I consider to be treacherous...but I have to say, with a broken heart, that EP 2 is better thna a New HOpe, sorry New HOpe, it was time to move on, but I still love ya :X

I suppose however if a new hope were to have had better special effects then that might be better...as well as having more action scene I guess.

AOTC gets my vote.
As far as the revelations are concerned (and speaking as someone watched the movie almost 100% spoiler-free) I would say that Ep2 comes pretty damn close to "I am your father".
-There was the insights to the Master/Padawan relationships
-The face behind the clonetrooper helmets
-The ultimate weapon
I would say that those three are all pretty big revelations. I was certainly blown away by them all.

If I had to put them in any sort of order it would be:
1. TESB
2. ANH
3. AOTC
4. ROTJ
5. TPM
Although AOTC may move into the number 2 spot once I finish the book and see the movie again.
