Exhausted after 30 hours of editing and whatnot on Saturday and Sunday alone, put in another 10 hours of paperwork on this video Friday, so about a 40-hour weekend with that, but the music video is finally completed. The project started two months ago in discussions and pre-planning, now finally after two weeks the editing is finished.
This link is the highest quality online version, so no YouTube quality here, hehe. The first video is the final product. Next two are performance-only cuts, not as well edited but still solid, they're just for fun not for presentation anywhere else but this private page, and the final is a behind-the-scenes video that's pretty fun. I'd recommend just the final product and the BTS video because it shows a bit about what went into this.

On my page, www.shutzi.com, under portfolio there is also a Flash version that I think is a good deal smaller and might play better depending on your machine. For me it plays worse, it seems choppier, but I think that's just because Quicktime is so perfect on Macs that anything else seems a bit underperforming.
I sent it off to 16 film festivals on Thursday. It will take months before I hear anything but that's ok, that's kind of how it goes. I'm just hoping to be selected to most of them, even if I don't win anything, being a finalist or something would rock.
I'm gone May 8-30 for this corporate road trip, well technically I come back the 27th but filming all of the 28th through 30th outside of Los Angeles so it's 23 straight days of work and driving (shooting 18 days, driving 5), probably about 12 hour days at least, kind of insane. It's a 4,000 mile road trip through 7 states filming virtual tour videos, a few corporate videos, and a training video at the end. It should be great experience and the pay is good for the time, so I'm excited about it but I can tell I won't be sleeping much in May! haha.

lol, it's funny I guess but it's a perplexing and odd attitude. Living is accomplishment, not necessarily competing in the rat race, but as long as you are striving towards worthy achievements that's as good as it gets. Look at some of the great artists or engineers or philosophers of the past -- they are still alive today through their work and achievements. That is escaping death. For though their mortal existence may have ceased, they still exist in a very real sense, through their work.
