CrashDown For President

I'm thinking about forming an exploratory committee to examine if I should run for President. I know that Jedi are not suppose to get involved with politics, but I think I have some good ideas about Iraq and feel the country would benefit from my leadership.
Since you are my people, I figured that I would ask you first.
Should I run?

What are your thoughts on space exploration, colonisation, and research? Drug policy? Education? Health? Would you stop the growing trend of trying to make the country its own isolated little community (not what politicians necessarily try to do, but it's the effect in most cases) instead of working towards trying to unify the human race?
The war in Iraq is big, but there are bigger things to worry about. Especially if you want my vote of confidence.

Geez Crash.. Politics is a double edged Sword...You just can't please everyone .. You will be loved and hated. The press wants Dirt Dirt Dirt.. Know who your friends are. Right or left.. Be an Independant.. I will vote.. I cant' stand Dems and Repubs.. They both are sucky..

These are very important issues, and I have thought long and hard on them. I promise that my administration will pursue bi-partisan cooperation in delegating fact finding actions to resolve uncertainties related to these complicated issues. I also look forward in conducting numerous town hall meetings throughout this great country, to speak with and listen to the American people, who feel as strongly as I do on these topics. Without first listening to the American people and examining the relevant data collected by the appropriate agencies, I feel that it would be a mistake to jump ahead with any single action on these matters. However, I promise that I will continue to examine my options, and to do my best to distance myself from these questions.

Great idea! I have taken the liberty of setting up your campaign headquarters at Hooters, and they have volunteered to host all your campaign events nationwide with complimentary buffalo wings. That should bring in plenty of votes! Your running mate will be determined by a wet T-shirt contest.

Their platform should be either six-inch heels, or an actual platform at the proper height to put the wet T-shirt around eye level. Either way, your running mate will serve the traditional purpose of swinging hesitant and undecided voters.

Interesting strategy; some candidates will sell their souls right from the beginning, while others prefer to wait until the eleventh hour when they are desperate and afraid that they are about to lose.
