By giving people a reason to think that their opinion actually does matter. (The opinion actually mattering being a good reason.) Also, tossing away propaganda and personal agendas and allowing the truth and facts of each issue to flesh out for each voter to have in front of them, instead of requiring hours upon hours of research into each matter to make a truly informed decision. Since few people want to do that about every issue, they end up having quick, knee-jerk reactions to most issues and either end up not caring at all or being passionately against something due to not having all the information or hearing all the arguments.
I guess the second part is half in on the topic and half in another issue, but I feel that the lack of truly attempting to provide the people with all the facts and all the arguments when voting does a lot in destroying their will to vote. They don't have to fish for it in the vast sea of cyberspace and literature or worry about ulterior motives.
Unfortunately that's pretty much utopic and impossible seeming in our present society of corruption and self-serving politics, but dreams are what start tomorrow, right?

I think they should Stop with all the lies..OOPS That is impossible... They will say what the people want to hear....They will say one thing to one group then say opposite to another group ..just for votes.. I really don't trust either side.. There is so much Hate on both sides. It makes my brain hurt ..LOLOL I vote for Grumpydevil.. He will clean them up.. and have a BBQ to boot...
