Where has all the time gone?
It appears that Colt's term (6 month term) as our CR will expire at the end of May.
We have three choices from here:
1. We can have a new election (is there anyone interested in the post?)
2. We can just have Colt serve on (if he wants to)
3. We can have no CR and just let the Oregon FanForce die in peace.
What will it be?

There is a fourth option. My dad has a lot of retirement communities, maybe instead of letting the Oregon FF die, we can throw it in a retirement home to live out the rest of its days with dignity.  haha, j/k
Wow I just read Colt's story now, moving from Vegas to Oregon would be depressing. Like moving from Coruscant to Tatooine or something.

Actually it was like moving from Tat to Naboo Vegas sucked I was glad to get out of there, Vegas was filled with gangs and drugs and crap plus the heat was unbearable.
and I would run for another terms but it's so inactive around here it guets dull and even gets me to not to post. because if i did post everytime i came here i would be talking to myself 90% of the time.

I love Vegas, I think it's one of the best cities in the world. I am not sure that I'd want to live there, but I want to get a condo right on the strip one day, hopefully within the next 5-8 years. There are no gangs on the strip, it's kept very clean, but there are bad areas I've noticed when you get off the beaten path. I feel very safe in Vegas when I'm staying in a nice area, though, it's a great city. So much to do, so many great restaurants, beautiful women from all over the world, and great weather almost year-around. I just don't like the summer months when it gets to 100, 110, 115, etc. That's no fun at all. But I would just go there the other 9 months or so.
Coming through Oregon again reminded me the hard way why I'd never want to live here again. The weather is just terrible, I don't know how anyone tolerates it. My crew has been complaining since we got here, I mean it's summer in California and has been for a while, up here it's just more of the same crap, can't even hit 60 degrees during the day, freezing cold at night like the middle of the winter, raining constantly, dreary, depressing, cloudy. Just some of the world's most terrible weather. It's not that it's harsh extremes like -35, it's just that it's so consistently bad from Eugene to Portland. Eastern Oregon is nice, I think Southern Oregon is better, but Portland, Corvallis, Eugene, forget about those cities as far as weather. Might as well slit your wrists and listen to emo music.

Funny I say the same about Vegas... I hate that place but I love Oregon. The rain is awesome, you just can't be afraid to get a little wet.

I was all about giving the kid a chance. I can see that it may have been a mistake. No offense, kid, but in your time as CR, you acted more like a dictator than a club moderator.
We've never been that active and it seems that it has been quite ok with the members here. In short, I move for the OFF to NOT have a CR for the next six months and see how it goes from there. Yeah, I am throwing down a vote of "No Confidence" in Colt.
Sorry, kid, but we have told you time and again not to treat us like proverbial red-headed step-children or act like a little dictator.

But Fan Force rules state that you have to have a CR.  If you guys wanted to take a step back from the idea of the CR "running" the club, that's cool, but we still need an appointed/elected person to be the contact between the group and the Fan Force staff.

The election was in December, was it not? That would make it June 1st, not July 1st.
