Okay, if many of you have been watching TV or maybe you have heard spike TV has had a comercial of vader breathing and then it flashes to April 2008. For those of you that don'tknow this is for the Star Wars movies. Spike TV bought the license to show all star wars films on Spike TV in April 2008.
With that said, are you please with spike TV able to show all 6 movies? or would you have prefered a different station? If so, what station?

I don't really care who shows them, I'm just glad they are showing them.
I remember in the early 1990s when the Sci-Fi channel ran the entire trilogy for the first time. It was huge, and got millions of people back interested in star wars.
I don't think that it will have the same impact now however. Most people who like star wars already have it on VHS or DVD, and can watch it anytime they want. I just watched ROTJ last night with my son. But it's still nice to know that cable channels are interested in showing the films.

HBO and Cinemax have been showing them for a few months already. Spike TV is a cool channel. Plus it will drum up interest for the Clone Wars movie and the cartoon later this year. Even though I do own multiple copies of the Saga, I'll still watch them.

I want the Saga on Blu-ray, that would finally convince me to get a new TV. Mine is an older 42" plasma screen, but it's not HDTV so it's really outdated by this point. It was back in the day before HD movies and whatnot. I want to replace it with a 50" or larger Samsung, and having the Star Wars movies on Blu-ray would be a great excuse to do that, haha.
