Robotic Tournament

I am heading out to Hillsboro for a Robotic Tournament that is being held at Glencoe High School. I don't know that there is an admission or not, but the information I got about this is event is that it is open to the public from 12pm -4pm. I am meeting Grumpydevil out that way... should anyone wish to join us, that is where we will be. It looks like it should be pretty interesting.
At any rate, I am just doing my part to promote activity. Later!

It was interesting.... but honestly, kind of boring. It basically consisted of robot teams from various lacales competing in a points -driven system. The object was to be graded on what the robot design could do - or rather how effectively the design acheived the goal of collecting the most amount of rings in the allotted time frame. After the first two rounds we, Kyle, Tigor and I were pretty much ready to go. So Kyle, Tigor and I hung out for the rest of the day. All-in-all, not a bad day just to go hang out.
