	To say that the beaver doesn't represent Oregonians is a farce. It is the official state animal. The fact that Oregon is beaver crazy with the pop-culture aspect is a throwback that we recognize the fact that the beaver is OUR state animal. This animal was very instrumental in the discovery of this region. Lewis & Clark's expedition to the Oregon Territory documented many aspects of the region, including its wildlife..... that and they found that beaver tasted like crap! I don't have a problem with any of those other logo proposals. They are simple and unique. They don't have any trademark issues, as you pointed out and it is a happy medium for all parties involved. I would wear any one of those logos over the "It's Good" proposal any day of the week! But like Matt pointed out, it isn't that these proposals have been swept under the rug, it's that we are just looking for more ideas to supplement them all. - Bill -----signature----- "In for a micron, in for a meter. 	Now that we have the logo decided on, it is time to discuss what color t-shirts we want. Do we want to do green shirts with white logo? This is the kind of thing that we need to iron out. I will look into getting the shirts made, pricing and all that. But before I do, I WANT these issues resolved first, then I want a commitment of how many shirts to order and in what sizes. Enough with this dragging of our feet on this thing. We've done enough of that. Let's get a consensus on this and get it done! This is for the OFF. 	Well, we could either do a green shirt with a white state outline and green letters, or a white shirt with a green state outline and white letters. 	I'd also rather have a green shirt with white logo (a good deep, rich, earthy green though, much like the logo is in the image) but Melanie and I think that a earthy brownish shirt with a green logo or the green with a brown logo would look cool, too. Would make it look more Oregony! 	I was leaning toward the green, myself, too. It is my favorite color. But I do like brown, too. Let's keep the ideas rolling in for a bit.
