Well, we could keep on coming up with logo designs, just draw a simple picture or cut & paste images. Or try this one:
Of course none of these images are final designs, or even shirt colors or styles. They are just building blocks so that we can have a basic look. Let's not give up on this idea.

I don't have any skills with computer art creation either. I have a rudimentary understanding of MS Paint, which sucks by the way. It is very limited.
All I did was gather some pictures together and did a cut/paste job. Realistically, this was just like making a collage.

Come up with something, anything. But don't knock it because you find it distasteful. Knock it because you produced something better.
Personally, I grow tired of contributing something and having it called crap, when the person calling it crap can't even be bothered to recognize that I invested personal time just so they could have another design to look at. A simple "thanks for the contribution, Bill" would have been nice.

And no, I wasn't joking. I took what people wanted and tried to marry it to something that would be reflective of an Oregon-based Star Wars fan club.
Sorry you didn't like it. Like I said, produce something better if this isn't something that you do not like.

Yeah, I understand the opinion part. But this is a group affair. I am asking her to put more into the decision-making process than just calling something crap because it is not what she wants.
I don't care if people don't accept my opinion. Show me where I have been otherwise. What I do care about is a lack of respect shown to me when I am trying to do something for the common good and get slapped in the face for my efforts. That is when I have a problem with it.
