	To answer the question: yes, I am going to have a table at OryCon. In fact, I am attending an OryCon Committee meeting to run some things by them tomorrow afternoon. The Mandalorian Mercs will have a table presence at OryCon. The Mercs will also be invading the Portland Comic Book Show, as they did last year. Whether there is a table for the Mercs, or not, they will be there. The Portland Comic Book Show is more of a "working event" for CCG, that is if they are doing as they've always done: photo booth set up for photo ops with the troopers for a fee. That fee going to charity. Having done the photo booth thing a couple of years ago at ECCC, I have reservations about being pressed into service of the other group's platform, while they take off to do something else - or go hang out over at a certain comic shop's table to promote sales. That is not what the Mercs are interested in doing. Nor do I think that is a good practice for the OFF to get into. All groups need to find their own identity and niche in the community. Working together is fine and dandy, but it is counter-productive when we are solidified in who we are. Otherwise, we're just puppets of the larger groups, being overshadowed due to the fact that they've been in the community spotlight longer. - Bill -----signature----- "In for a micron, in for a meter. 	Sounds good. I am sure the next CR will make sure to keep things in an orderly fashion. I never did report back on my meeting with OryCon in the way of tables. I have two tables reserved. 	We just have to keep hitting those public events, like the cons and the portland comic book show. It wouldn't be a bad idea to hit up the local gaming and comic shops to see if they would be willing to allow us to have some fliers put up at their venues....
