501st IS possible in Ottawa!!!

I didn't want to highjack the other thread, so I will post this here.
Hey guys, I just realized something. If we can get 10 people together that are offical 501st members, we can become an outpost! That is the first step in becoming a Garrison. Here is who we have:
Elijah - Darth Vader
Jason - Boba Fett
Luc - Imp. Royal Guard
Steph - Sandtrooper
John - Emperor Palpy
Erik - ROTS Anakin
Rob - Darth Maul
Jer - Emperor Palpy
Van - Stormtrooper
Chris - Scouttrooper
Now, if John, Erik, Rob, Jer, Van and Chris want to apply for the 501st, I will fill out the application to become an outpost. However, everyone has to be an offical member of the 501st. It doesn't take all that long. It took me about a month or so to get an ID.
So...what do you think Jer? Do you think you can turn your friends to the Dark Side, and join us??
Let's do this!! Togeher with our combind strenght, we can become an Outpost!!!

It means that we would be recognized in Ottawa and be able to advertize ourselves even more, and become bigger. The more people we have, the closer we can become a Garrison.

FYI, with 10 members you can form a Squad, not an Outpost. 
Squads
Garrisons can sub-divide into Squads for even smaller areas or areas where clusters of members tend to operate together regularly. A Squad requires at least ten (10) members and is headed by a Squad Leader (SLDR), who is elected every February by the members of the Squad. Applicants must complete a Squad Application Form in which they list their new Squad name, roster of members from their local Garrison membership roster, territorial boundaries, Squad logo, working website and email forum, and a brief statement of purpose outlining the reasons for their Squad to be formed. The formation of a Squad must first be approved by the Legion Commander, Captain of the Guard, and the Garrison Commander of the area in which it is formed. If approved, the applicant group undergoes a six month trial period, during which it must demonstrate that it can operate as an independent body. After the trial period the Legion Commander, Captain of the Guard, and Garrison Commander vote again to approve the squad officially.
Outposts
For areas that lie outside 501st Legion control and do not have enough members to form a Garrison, an Outpost may be formed. An Outpost requires only one member and is headed by an Outpost Leader (OL), who is elected every February by the members of the Outpost. Applicants must complete an Outpost Application Form in which they list their new Outpost name, roster of members from the main 501st roster, territorial boundaries, Outpost logo, working website and email forum, and a brief statement of purpose outlining the reasons for their Outpost to be formed. Application for an Outpost must be approved by the Legion Commander and the Captain of the Guard, at which time the Outpost immediately becomes official. Once an Outpost contains twenty five members it may apply to be a recognized Garrison as outlined above and may waive the one-year trial period at the discretion of the Legion Council.

I know they ARE joining, question is who have they been talking to in Ottawa? The efforts could have been doubled by a few other people, my friend Chris is going to get his contact info for us.

Marianne_Solav, are you part of the 501st already? And if so, are you cloese to Ottawa?? It is great to hear that if we have 10 people we can be an outpost. The more the merrier!!
DarExc, hopefully they will be members soon. I got a call form someone at the Ottawa 67's. They would like us to come down on the 30th of December. That is fairly short notice, I think. Hopefully my guys will come through!!

Well, I suppose Montreal is considered close to Ottawa! We should be having our own squad soon, though.

Fellow troops, and soon to be troops, I have an event I would like you to attend if you can. Here is the info:
What: Ottawa 67's Game
Where: Ottawa, Ontario - Civic Centre
When: December 30th - 7:30 - Dorrs open at 6pm
What: 501st Trooping the Arena During the Game
It would be great if we could get our as many guys and gals as we can. Here is who is coming so far:

John (more than likely) Emperor Palpatine
