Special thanks to DarExc for coming up with the idea, suggesting the restaurant, and making the reservations.
And a BIG thank you to all who made it out, I had a lot of fun.

Good German food was consumed, much discussion and getting to know people was accomplished, and general merriment ensued.
2 Decisions were made.
1. We want to get together in either January or February and have a Star Wars Bowling night.
2. Im going to invite everyone to my place some time in the new year to have a Light saber building day.

Sounds like everyone had fun! And the bowling...Nice idea! I love bowling, esspecially if it is 10 pin...CRASH!!!
And as for next meeting, I will do my best to be there...maybe Baton Rouge in Kanata Centrum...best ribs in Ottawa!!

Yes, it was lots of fun indeed. Was great to meet everyone.  here is the image I was talking about that got through US customs unopened. The warhead for the Panzerfaust is in the box but the launch pipe goes in through one end and out the other. Crazy...

sorry i couldnt make it...did not want to spend 2 hours on a bus to get there 
There is a new Baton Rouge in Downtown Ottawa that just recently oppened. Perhaps a more centralised location for all would be a good idea? Hoppefuly I can make the next one. Also Darkexc you link for the pic doesnt work.

Hmmm...not sure Rob. I just got a temporary full time posting at the nursing home, so I will have to see what my schedule will be like. I don't think either should be a problem.

I was thinking....Rob wanted to have another meeting in January. I was wondering if January 13th would work for people. It is a Friday, which would make things a bit easier.

Hmmm...what is centralized, that is actually fun??? Is Famous Players centralized? Perhaps we could go see a movie??
I live in Almonte, so I can get to pretty much anywhere. But I was thinking that since the last event was on the east end, that perhaps it could be a bit closer to me
