A Farewell and a Thank you to Earwen_Lightrider as she moves out East!

After such a short time here as an RSA, Earwen has moved back East. While we are in the process of looking for a new RSA, I'd like to say THANK YOU to Natalie for everything she's done and that I'll miss working with her!

Quite possible in fact, contrary to popular belief not all of Washington is like Seattle. In fact the area of Washington I live in gets very little rain because it is in the desert area of Washington so far our cummulative perceptation for the year is below 8 inches for sure and I think it is below 7 inches as of today (would require me to pay attention more during weather at work ). Nat lived only a few hours above me in similar weather conditions most of the time, at least the times I have been up to Spokane the weather is very similar to where I live.

Drats! You beat me to the "not all Washington cities are rainy like Seattle" remark. Basically, if you live East of the mountains in Washington, you don't get near as much rain. The mountains take care of it So yes, it is possible.

It also doesn't rain as much as one would believe in Seattle. It's usually really dry June-September.

Ugh....those months are a total drag here, we had a week where the lowest temp of the week was 103 and the high was 112 it sucked. I think we got rain twice from June to September
