Now that we have our table, we need people to man it!
Yvette and I really don't want to be chained to the table for the entire convention, so that's where you come in!
We're asking for at least 1 person per shift, two if possible, but no more than three.
What do you get for Volunteering?
Besides all the love that Yvette and I possess, table volunteers will receive a week of VIP colors and titles after the convention is over, as well as something special that Yvette and I are cooking up.
Also, if you volunteer, you will be helping your Fan Force out! LFL has informed me that if we want new logos/flyers out, we just need to send it to them. As such, we still will have a generic flyer out with all the information, but volunteers will be allowed to also have individualized flyers for your fan force on the table!
We are NOT associated with the GenCon volunteering, so you will not get any of the benefits that volunteers for the convention will be getting.
So what will I have to do?
Sit there and look pretty. No, seriously. Working the table means answering any and all questions about Fan Force, locations of fan forces, and just talking to people in general. Shifts are two hours each (minus the closing shift). We'll expect you to be polite, helping... pretty much just stay in the TOS, since we want to kinda keep our good name. We'll also expect you to keep the table orderly and make sure all our stuff is there at the end of the day.
I'm hooked. How do I sign up?
I'm going to post a time schedule below. Just post which time slots you would like, your screen name, first name (or PM to me), and which Fan Force you are with. I'll keep this all in an excel file as well, and will have both a schedule AND a sign in sheet at the table. We will expect you to clock in and out on the sheet.
*Note*: If you are signing up for one of the opening shifts, it would help if you had a volunteer badge. We'll try to work something out, though.  Also, you must be a Fan Club member to sign up on the 24th.

Well, I'll go with, for now, (if something comes up I absolutely have to be at, I'll try to trick someone into switching), Thursday 6-8, and Fri, Sat 4-6
may add more once there's a schedule out. I'm not one to be terribly on the move with these things.

Put JarusSarn and I at both the Friday and Saturday opening shifts tentatively. I'll need to confirm that with him, but it shouldn't be a problem. He had an awesome time volunteering at the last one, and we are both going to be volunteering for OPX, so we will have the badges...
Also, I think it would be good to request that we have 2 people per shift. If I remember correctly, Jarus did a few shifts that weren't his so that someone could go somewhere(not for sure on this)? Bathroom breaks for a 2 hour shift would be good. And in the excitement of con, sometimes people forget that it is their turn and then the person with the shift before has to stay there to man the booth. 2 people per shift will make sure someone is there in case the other doesn't show up!
