The meeting is a planning committee for the Saga Weekend.
It is not a playground for dueling, as we will be at the library.
We may plan for some event in the future that may entail duels - but for now, I do not think library policy will permit us to go dueling at either the planning meeting or the Saga Weekend.

I agree with LordinVar about the library not being the right venue for dueling. We are hosting an event for the communitee the last thing we need is to show them that we're just a bunch of star wars geeks who like to whack on each other with glow sticks.

Hi Darthruin88,
I appreciate your enthusiasm for dueling. I myself duel once in a while with my 9-year-old son. Our current Fanforce meetings time schedule has not allowed us to set aside any time for dueling, our current members of the Fanforce is collectively made up of those who enjoy collecting, discussion topics, trivia games, and events. There maybe an occasion in the future that could call for our members to host a Lightsaber Challenge. We may even consider extending it to the community and their families. With proper planning, my wife and I have been discussing holding a Young Jedi Academy Afternoon where children from the community would be trained in the way of the Jedi with a final duel against Darth Vader. Thank you for your idea all suggestions are at least considered on our forums.

Wow man, you are on a completly different level than the rest of us. I think you maybe bored with our club. I myself sometimes go more than a week without taking my saber off its stand. Sounds like the only stuff our ff does that you may be interested in are things we have'nt done yet and may not do for awhile.

2 things.....
1st, try to make sure you are logging in when you post.
I don't know how/why it is letting you post - it shouldn't be.
2nd, try not to take your saber to a library. Honestly in this day and age, they'll probably see it more as a weapon than anything and probably not let you in.
