Has anyone seen this man's (www.krikl.com) work? He takes action figures dresses them up realisticly and photographs them in realistic battle scenes. I had the thought today after coming home with some new star wars action figures for the boys that it would be realy cool to do some diarama scenes with the star wars action figures and then photograph them. Doing the scenes as they would have appeared in the movies, some of which I know have been "captured" in the packaging in the so called "cinima scenes" and "battle packs." But I am thinking about going a step further.

I am interested in seeing some of the diaramas you guys have done. I know Chris has done a few (Sorry I havn't learned everyone's screne names yet) from reading a previous post. I figure all of you have a pretty extensive figure collection, I ran into one of you guys in TRU and Wall-Mart today that admitted he was an "opener" and a collector and most of you had pictures of collections in your profiles so I think it would be an interesting project to work together on.

I wish I had a better cammera is the only thing. I am realy good at photo-editing on the computer though and that is where I think this could realy take off. Taking photo's of figures like luke and Darth Dueling with the emporer in the background sitting in a sculpted chair, then editing the photo on computer to put it into a throne room setting as well as "rotoscoping" the sabres...

anyway... I looked up "action figure photography" on google and alot of stuff came up, but all of it was for GI-Joe. Star Wars action figure photography is probably out there... but it's a niche that we could wedge ourselves into!
