Announcing the Fan Film: Spirits of the Force

For immediate release:
12/13/2003 - Phoenix, Arizona - Today at the Toy Anxiety, Toys for Tots event, Joel Cranson (LORDPARSEC here on the boards) announced the latest project from the Tight Stitch Productions crew, a fanfilm called Star Wars - Spirits of the Force
This 17 minute Star Wars fanfilm has already finished principal photography (which occured in ONE day actually), and is already well into the post production process. The film stars Joel Cranson, Jessica Bishop (MJ), Nathan Blaine (Jedi_Hunter_Alpha), Hal Semmens (a PhxFF lurker), and co-stars Kevin Herrmann and Kevin Ward (Darth_Rinku). Webb Pickersgill (Jedi_Webb) will be doing the post production, and expects the film to be completed by early Spring 2004, and the Widescreen, special edition DVD to be available by early Summer 2004. I wanted to bump this back up in the off chance someone didn't know about the trailer being up on phxff.net.
The TIGHT STITCH Productions crew decided to take the Lucasfilm route in that we're not giving any of the plot away.
At this time however, we are pleased to inform you that the film contains both existing Expanded Universe Characters (One of whom has never been portrayed by a live actor) and characters from the minds of the film's creators (which maybe George Lucas will steal from us... I doubt it though).
PRODUCTION UPDATE:
All principal photography was shot in a day (We shot from 7AM - 7PM. Mind you, as scary as this idea sounds, in no way does it decrease the quality of the film)
All looping sessions (voice over work) have been completed.
All of the post production FX are currently being worked on by Jedi_Webb and are coming out awesome! Several shots have recently had their finishing touches!
Hang in there, gang! The film will be here soon enough!

Nice going, LP... I just got over my initial excitement about the film. Then you have to go along and START ME UP AGAIN!!!!! Excuse me as I attempt to beat the memory out of myself.
