Happy 5th Anniversary, PFF!

Way back in the day when the Phoenix Fan Force was first starting up, the policy at TFN was that you had to have three successful "pre-meetings" with at least three people in attendance before you were granted official fan force status (i.e. your own official Chapter Representative, etc).
The first "pre-meeting" occurred in December 2001 -- this day is referred to as "Founder's Day". Because December is such a busy month and the actual day of the Founder's Meeting has been lost to time/memory, the celebration for Founder's Day was pushed back to January to coincide with the Atomic Comic meeting for the convenience of the Fan Force.
The first anniversary of the Fan Force being an official group according to TFN occurred on the second Saturday of February back in 2002.
So, if the first anniversary of the Fan Force was in 2002, today marks the 5th.

Heh, I was there at that first official meeting at the Village Inn oh so long ago in '02. Wow, where has the time gone?
Congrats to the PFF!!! May you continue to celebrate many an anniversary with much fanfare, michief and mayhem!

I just want to know who was foolish enough to let LJC have a gun... I'm willing to bet that was the birth of Ion_Control.

Actually, no. It was the L.A. trip out to see the L.A. Star Wars Episode II Line-Up that gave life to that alter ego (i.e. Mobius called on the radio for Ion Control to take care of some slow cars in front of us and I answered the call  ).
