Hello all,
My name is George and I am a Sci-fi geek. (Hi George) I am new to your group. I'm not sure want you might want to know, I am a married 38 year old Truck driver, that enjoys Sci-fi and dresses as a Klingon for fun. I am active it a local Sci-fi group that is mostly Trek related. Our members belong to many different groups. I believe we believe the same things, Unite the fandoms in Pittsburgh. I have always enjoyed the first 3 Star Wars films and as a youth own almost all the toys. Even though Trek is my first love, it was T.V.. Star Wars will always be the Big Screen favorite.

Hello everyone.
My name is Ron I just joined via the SWAP website. Like George I'm another one from the local Startrek group. I've been with them for going on 4 years now. I don't do costumes but I love Sci-Fi. I am K'moghjIH zantai-Ki'RK (Larry D. French, Sr.), a Dark Lord DaHar Master. My heritage is half-Klingon, half-Vulcan. "I think logically, but with a bad attitude." I am a Jedi Council Member of the Intimidator Jedi Knights, Commanding Officer of the ICV Heghnach, and Executive Officer of the USS Inferno Science Fiction Club.
We met your group at the Pittsburgh Comicon. We had five of us there. Most of us were dressed as Klingons.
Many of us like both Star Trek and Star Wars, but prefer Star Trek over other sci-fi genre. The USS Inferno Sci-Fi Club will take members that like any genre of Science Fiction. Some of us also belong to a Battlestar Galactica club as well. I am the only member of the crew that participates in the Intimidator Jedi Knights group and as a cadet for Garrison Carrida of the 501st Legion. I originally wanted to build a uniform for their group, but found it is way too expensive to be able to do it.
We are interested in getting much more involved with joint ventures with your group since you've expressed interest in wanting to allow us to participate with you. The 501st group doesn't seem interested in doing anything with us.

I just noticed that two of the USS Inferno Sci Fi Club members have already posted. Kuruk is our Personnel Officer and helmsman. Ron is our Chief Engineer and Bursar.
I forgot to mention the details like Kuruk did. I am married to the CO of the USS Inferno (Debbie "Ksimka" French). I am 46 years old. I have two jobs, one in computer operations/pc support and the other as a mental health call specialist supervisor. I am a Disabled American Veteran of the United States Air Force (9 years). My wife and I live in Beechview in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
I like most of the sci fi genre to include Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica (old and new), Buck Rogers, and a few others.
At conventions and shows, I usually dress in Klingon gear until the heat starts to bother me. I have worn Starfleet costumes, military costumes, Civil War costumes, Scot/Irish kilts, and during the last Star Wars movie, I worn a ST:First Contact uniform with my Klingon Command Cloak with the hood covering my head like Darth Vader/Anakin did in the movie.

I've been razzing the guys on my home FF boards but, I thought I would post here where people probably understand my passion for the Steelers a bit better.
I am really looking forward to the Steelers handing the Pats their only loss of the season on Sunday and will actually be in Foxborough to see it!

HI!
I have been living close to Pittsburgh for some time and absolutely love everything about Star Wars! I am 27 years old and about to finish my second degree this May. I love every movie in the saga and have a special love for Anakin Skywalker. Although I love several of the other characters as well! Han Solo, Padme, Leia, Obi-Wan among others. I used to work in a movie theater and actually got to build Revenge of the Sith for our projectors! That was a highlight for sure! Have a couple of pieces from the movie as well from the build. Anyway, I would love to talk about anything Star Wars and look forward to making some friends!
