Pirates Themed Weekend is on Aug 25 when we will be in Toronto  But there's also Sept. 8 GRAPE STOMP and later they have a Celtic weekend!
who wants to go challenge some Knights with sabers? Lightsaber pole jousting?

I've always wanted to go with a group of folks in Jedi garb, but no one would do it with me.
I like going to the Renaissance festival (jousting is fun to watch!) and if we can find a day that's good for all of us, I'm in.

These are so much fun. I go to the Ohio Renaissance festival every year and it's a blast. I especially love the deep fried turkey legs with a goblet of beer! I love the Mud Show the most of all!

Yeah, It is so cool. Kind of hard to describe but basically these 3 hilarious guys perform numerous comedy skits and cover themselves and the front 10 rows of the crowd in mud. Their website is moremud.com

That would be most cool! Have the Trek and SW folks all show up together in costume. Tradmic, could you ask them if they would be interested? Nothing better than Jedi and Klingons hanging out together. Tim can wear his Yoda Starfleet costume.

Weekend of Sept. 8 and 9 is not only the Grape Stomp, but the "Wooing Contest" and the "Best Man in Tights" contest.
Sept 22 and 23 is Celtic Weekend and there will be a "Men in Kilts" Contest. I hope there is some awesome prize for SuperChill to win. 
I'll update soon with a response as far as meeting up with the Trek group.

I am the XO of the Trek group and we decided it was best for us to go on Sunday, September 23rd because one of our members drives truck all week and is very tired on Saturdays, I usually work on Saturdays, and I think another of our group works Saturdays. Sundays are usually better for us anyway.
Is there any way that you guys could have an event/meeting on Sunday instead of Saturday, so that many more of us could attend? We are seriously trying to get more involved with your group.
I know our Chief Engineer is also a member of this forum.
