Yea, I know it's early... however, we have a LOT planned. Please mark your calendar's for Saturday, October 4th, 2008. It will be at the Krueger Street Toy and Train Museum (where I did the 30th ann. exibit) here in Wheeling. This will pretty much be the new home for Jedicon! Bigger location + bigger geographical area = bigger show. We are currently in contact with the DC Metro area club, as well as, PSWCS to help out so ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Again, the show will benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in the area and we plan on having a lot of cool things. I'll keep quiet until the beginning of next year regarding details but this is just a heads up.

Cheers,
Steven

Just another update from our meeting on Feb. 9th. If anyone wishes to have a vendors/display table let me know and I'll go over pricing (not much). We submitted our logo design to Lucasfilm and are waiting to hear back from them. Once we do, we will start printing out t-shirts and such. We've heard back from several regarding setting up tables and we have many more... lot's more room this year.

Michele, if you are still interested in helping with the kids table let me know. I'm still planning on doing the Droid Factory craft area. I'd like to take some pics and submit them to the Star Wars Insider.

Myself and I think Eric will be doing some collecting discussions and Jon Seay should be back again with his Lucasfilm prop items. We have already submitted ads in several toy magazines linked to the museum and possibly AFN, we'll see. I know we'll have our concessions area down stairs and that is probably where we'll have the silent auction items on display.

I know we'll have a couple tv's available so any idea's on fanfilms would be great. I know there are several good one's out there. The one I'm working with (that's another story) should be done by then. We'll be sure to keep the Jediconwv.net website updated periodically for everyone.

These are just some of the basics, once we get closer to summer, we'll have a better agenda.

Cheers,
Steven

The bottom link in my signature is a registration page to order tickets and or a table or 2.Please remember that a portion of the admission also goes to Children's Miracle Network.

We are also in talks with Lucasfilm to do a T-shirt in which ALL proceeds will go to CMN.If you would like to see a pic,of the unfinished design, please e-mail and I'll send it to you.

Thanks!

We here at Jedicon WV a pleased to announce that Jon Seay,an original animation artist on Ep IV,will join us for the festivities and also bring along original pieces of the Death Star used in the film.

We are also working on some flyers we plan on distributing at the museum and maybe passing out at the "Clone Wars" premiere this August. If you would like any please let me know.

This years show is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet!!
