I stopped at Radio Shack the other day to buy a coupler, and they had Master Replicas "Build Your Own Lightsaber" kits on sale for $50.
So I'm currently working on the latest version of the Lightsaber of Earendil.
Just needs a little Elvish and some bling.

I got the same deal at the Radio Shack in New York City and in one on Long Island. The website also has a suggested price of $49.99. So I think that they are on sale everywhere.

If they are on sale it might be a going out of stock sale. We better get em quick. What does the Saber look like? Is it a completely new design or based on famous Sabers we know like Luke, Vader etc? --Billy

I picked one up last night. It's plastic, not metal but the sound and weight is good. I havnt opened it, but it looks like there are parts to make either an Anniken Ep2, Vader, or Luke Ep6 saber. There is a switch on the handle to change the blade color to either Red, Blue, or Green.
I'm going to check out thecustomsabershop.com boards to see if anyone's monkeyed with them.

There are four sections with three choices for each section, so you can make several different versions. You can change the blade color with a switch. The sound changes for each color, as well.
The light isn't as bright at the end as it is at the base, but overall, it looks pretty good.
