So, costume panel is gone for next year. sad Surprising that there is so little interest in it (although my brother in law speculated that may be because there is so much online about costuming, that maybe folks don't want to spend the limited time at a con at a costume panel)


If Neil is willing, I think doing the Custom Action Figures agian would be good.

I talked to someone at Comicon that not only is a liscened artist for Lucas film, but also designs scrapbook kits for JoAnne's and Micheals. Katie Cook seemed interested in doing a panel on SW crafts.

"Science Fiction Vacations" panel on planning scifi themed vacations. Not just SW weekends, Trek experience in Vegas, Conventions (Dragon, San Diego), but also how to find locations that movies were filmed on.

Collecting panels (w00t for Arnie and Marjorie)

"Hierachy of Geekdom" (stolen from I-Con and variation of BSG's 'why can't we all just get along' panel) Talking about why geeks/fandoms feel the need to be hostile to each other, to look down on some of the other fandoms, etc.

"Star Trek VS. Star Wars Trivia Challenge" A ST team, A SW team (maybe we can get a third fandom to be the 'umpire') Round one each team is asked trivia from their 'opposite' fandom. Round two, each team is asked trivia from their own fandom. Round three, each team is asked general scifi trivia, including questions from the audience.
