I called it the Merr-Sonn Z-6 rotary blaster. That's the one used by the ARC sergeant at Hypori - the Gatling gun thingie.

Rotary blaster eh? That thing cooks. Now that is a proper Mando weapon. None of these fancy toxic sbaerdarts or skinny little hand blasters. Just brute force. And plenty of it [face_devil]

Rotary blaster, nice name. I always liked the underslung rotary repeater from the Arms and Equipment guide.

I actually did a project for school on ARCs. I said they tested prototype weaponry, of which the portable quad laser cannon was one of them. I said the idea was scrapped, since we don't see any apart from Clone Wars 21, whereas we see the gatling gun, or Rotary blaster, as it is now called, in Clone Wars 23.

That hunk of killyness? In a high-density population zone like 000(slang for Cosuscant that is, right?)? Talk about collateral damage...

Oh well, a few hundred civilian casualties per second are good for you. Hell, I can imagine Vau saying that if you dont kill a few hundred civvies with it, you arent using right!

    I can just imagine...
Commando trainee: Sargent Vau, how do we avoid civilian casaulties?
Walon Vau: If you don't kill a few civvies, you ain't using the damn thing right.

    LOL.

Luckily those guys don't have the bad marks manship of the Stormtroopers in the OT. If those guys had rotary blasters, all the rebels would have to is wait for them to get killed by their bad aim.

Not if they don't have the "main character field of invulnerablity" around them. ;)

Yeah if GL hadnt remebered to turn off the Jedi's Character Shields in ROTS, the movie woulda been like 12 hours long because thats how long it woulda taken for the clonies to kill the jedi when they have their special saving throw against extras.

Actually, most Jedi don't have the "main character shields" being close to scrubs themselves.

Yes, but most clone troops involved in Order 66 have Plot Devices attached to their utility belts, which can trump minor cool character shields.
