Labyrinth of Evil said he had wives, maybe the girlfriend was before the wives or became one of the wives if she wasn't killed. *shrugs*

Maybe it's like that Chinese concubine business, where sometimes the husband likes one wife more than the others and pays to keep the others in separate houses while he stays mostly with one wife.

Looks like Grevious killed Flint's father at Belderone, and an Iron Knight on Xagobah to boot. :D

The picture also makes Grievous look like a chick. Which is a good thing.
What's up with the hair on the "chick"? Please don't tell me the Kaleesh have bushy full heads of hair .....please no X_X

Looks like hair to me. I don't mind that so much, since we don't know too much about Kaleesh biology.

However, I'm still waiting for somebody to explain how some Duros have long hair and others have mutton-chops/sideburns. o_O

    If Duros have hair...

does that mean Neimoidians do too? Like, Nute could once have had sideburns to rival BoShek?

Or long, Fabio-esque hair? Just what are they hidding in those tall hats... o_O

Nobody can beat BoShek's Sideburns of Destiny, though. [face_mischief]

Not according to his biography, Gunray on Top, written by his mistress. (Take the title how you will... :p )

    >>>Eh... seriously though... what source was that Duros hair business from?<<<

Glove of Darth Vader. [face_mischief] The female Duros have long hair, with braids.

And there's a green Duros/Neimoidian with sideburns in Qui-gon and Obi-wan: The Aurorient Express (which is a very strange comic, by the way.)

    EDIT: Spelling...

Geez, 2 sources?!? Can't say I ever got my hands on either of those two, but I heard the latter was a bit odd.

Heh heh... Gunray on Top.... I'm surprised anyone even remembers that. Aside from me.

    >>>Geez, 2 sources?!? Can't say I ever got my hands on either of those two, but I heard the latter was a bit odd.<<<

The Qui-gon and Obi-wan comics are a pain in the choobies to find. :( Aurorient had some weird moments, like talking fish people (including a weird little goldfish with a unibrow...), but I thought it was a fun little read. It had some pretty funny moments, too.

*Qui-gon and Obi-wan crash through a skylight on a cruise-ship. Everybody turns around and stares at them.*

Qui-gon: "Everyone remain calm... no cause for alarm... we're,er...

    Obi-wan: "Window washers."

    Qui-gon: "Yes. Window washers."

    :p

Obscure literary references are our speciality, ma'am.

I suppose I intended it to be hair, more of a "mane" really with the top knot braid like a samurai warrior. Since I drew the artwork somewhat small I needed a readily identifiable visual cue to distinguish Ronderu as female and separate in gender from Qymaen. I suppose I could have played up her bossom but I pictured her sinewy, lean and muscular like a fighter. I also thought the hair or mane could have actually been part of the animal originally whose skull she is wearing as her mask. I suppose we'll find out for sure in The New Essential Guide to Alien Species that my friend Chris Trevas is illustrating :)

I was just thinking the same thing about the skull.

And that's also the second time I've seen a mention of the New Species guide in the last fifteen minutes. Joe, do you know if it's really coming out this October?

I heard something about Jan Duursema making a cameo as a Jedi Master. Is this true?

She's had a number of cameos before, as Ur-sema Du. But I thought that the AotC comic showed her dead at the arena, so how could GG have killed her? [face_thinking]

I know it's coming out this year, written by Ann M. Lewis and Helen Keier with art by Chis Trevas and William O'Conner (who's new to SW but Chris thinks his work is good). Amazon has it listed for Oct. 31st.
