Actually, it's Sibelius 5 running Kontakt Player 2 with Garritan Personal Orchestra. Good stuff.

    Can garageband even sequence midi?

I use cubase and reason at home and protools in the studio. Reason works ok for orchestra using orkester samples. I have finale and the kontakt sampler if you use finale, cause that would be easier than midi files. The string stuff would be pretty easy, but drums/ percussion are a kriffer in midi.

    EDIT:
oh that sounds great, i need to invest in some nice orchestra samples, but im afraid i wouldnt use them enough for it to be worth it

My point with Garageband is that his epic work might be better serviced by arranging it in that program instead of a MIDI.

That's essentially what I'd be doing. The trick is, regardless of whether it was in Garageband or Sibelius, it's essentially the same thing: high-quality MIDI samples well-sequenced. And I have a lot more control (and a lot better integration with my sequencer) in Sibelius than I would in Garageband (though it's a pretty good program, admittedly).

For info, what I'm running is Kontakt with Garritan Personal Orchestra... so it's pretty darn good. ;)

Thank you all for listening! And my greatest thanks to Jan and John for listening to my "fan letter."

Also my thanks to many of you for the offers to upgrade the sound. The thing is, "Fall of Ossus" and "Squll Squadron" are written in and for .wxs format. I too have Finale with GPO, but I need to do "corrections" here and there to make it sound appropriate in different formats. It'll take time, considering the amount of music I have to write.

Next work will be Sia's theme, coming within 24 hours.;)

I left here to do more with music, and though it doesn't have anything to do with Star Wars, one of the tracks might.

I gave an eye to see the future deals with another god, but Krayt ...

Here is the next piece of music for the Legacy comics, Princess Marasiah's Theme. This one is a brand new theme (like Anakin's Theme, Luke and Leia, etc.) and you'll hear it in various forms in tracks to come.

    2. Princess Marasiah's Theme

You can also download it from here as always. I hope you enjoy it!

Hm, interesting. It sounds like a mix of Nintendo-style fanfare with hints of Across the Stars. I did like the March at the end, even if it was just for a short bit.

It vaguely reminds me of wedding music--and no, that's not my subconscious talking. :p

Excellent work! Nice to hear shades of the Force Theme, the Imperial March and even a bit of Luke's Theme in "Knights of the Empire"; it has a great John Williams flavour.

Keep up the amazing work. I'd love to watch a fan film using this score.

    Cade Heals the Princess

They are now available on the site here, along with all the previous works. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy them!

May I request music for the battle in #13 between Kruhl and Fel? Or the scene in #24 with the holonews on the Calamari and Cade?

Now I have something to read Legacy to.

...I am slightly reminded of Pokemon ("Cade! I choose you as the new Chosen One"). Probably just the program used.

Unfortunately, not all the links work on this computer due to parts of your website being blocked by Vista...I'll come back later and listen. How many more are you planning? I'd love a Yuuzhan Vong-centered piece.
