I just thought of another addition: the Star Wars Essential Guides should be added to "Best Series."

We have The Clone Wars: Holocron Heist coming in fifth, barely ahead of honorable mentions Cargo of Doom and Legacy of Terror.

Tied for third are The Clone Wars: Trespass and The Hidden Enemy.

They were both just one point behind second-place finisher Hostage Crisis.

By strong consensus, the number one TV episode of the year is:

I don't watch the TV series, so I can't comment about that. While Abyss wasn't my favorite book, I will admit that it certainly triggered a lot of discussion and pro and con comments since its debut, so it was certainly one of the most important and intriguing novels and talked about novels of the year. So, congratulations to Troy Denning.

I'm very pleased about John Jackson Miller's choice as best Comic writer of the year! I have loved just about every issue of his Knights of the Old Republic. Zayne will always be one of my favorite characters. KotOR will be greatly missed after issue number 50!!!

 

Voting for Best Trade Paperback revealed:

A tie for fifth place between Knights of the Old Republic: Dueling Ambitions and The Clone Wars: The Wind Raiders of Taloraan.

In fourth, Legacy: The Hidden Temple.

Third place goes to Legacy: Storms.

Voters just can't get enough of Legacy trades -- it was the same way last year. Vector Volume 2 takes second.

Strong backing put Imperial Commando: 501st in second place.

So to recap: 501st is the second-best EU work, but the fifth-best novel. Allston is a better novel author than Denning, though Denning is a better author overall, and Abyss was better than Outcast. Got all that, folks?
