7/10 from me. I liked the detective movie style of the episode, as well as Tera Sinube. I also loved little details like Palpatine's speech undermining the Jedi in the eyes of the public. I took off points for the awful Patrolian voice acting and Ahsoka's annoying disrespect to elder Jedi.

Another thing that bothered me: How did Anakin not know Ahsoka's lightsaer was missing? It's not like she was wearing a cloak that could have been covering it up, it was obviously not there.

I'll just quote this. It's pretty close to how I feel. I think there should be more "detective" style work in Star Wars. I feel like this is what the Jedi are all about.

7 and most of that comes from Sinube's character and new alien designs.... plot is not too great and it is bit boring episode but nothing compared to Corruption so when rewatching it felt better than the first time since now i've learnt how boring TCW can be and this is still far from it- Sinube has cool canesaber too.... but Coruscant seriously needed new background folk when this was made.... it had nothing really horrible either so i dunno... i think 7 is good and i give 7- okay 6.5 rounded up to seven:D

    8/10

-Ridiculous Italian accent for the thief (stereotypical)
-A bid sluggish in the beginning, especially with Ahsoka's attitude being considerably annoying this time around

The disrespect to a Jedi Master is almost unbelievable to me. It would be possible coming from Anakin, who was not raised in the Temple, but doesn't make sense coming from Ahsoka.

I'll watch the episode tonight, but this was the first "meh" episode since Senate Spy. A pretty long stretch that frankly, I'm not sure they'll ever repeat (6 quality episodes in a row).

    7/10

This is one of the first episodes where I started actually liking Ahsoka. Just a little. I think the strict focus on her throughout the episode gave her less of the shoe-horned side-kick role she had up until the middle of Season 2. The new alien designs were also cool.

Argh, yes. As amused as I was by the "happy land!" line, the cliched accent was pretty bad.

The episodes is a 6 for me. I've only just now watch it a 2nd time.

I liked the slow paced detective work, Tera Sinube, some of the humor, and the fantastic chase seen at the end which concluded rather epicly with Sinube's help. But both of the minor villainesses were annoying, Ahsoka's character took like three steps back, and the plot was a little stupid.

Obedience and respect shouldn't be automatic. They should be earned-George Carlin

    Perhaps Ahsoka shares this logic.

I really enjoyed Tera Sinube. Hope they bring him back.

One of my most favorite episodes and yes it's because I'm heavily Ahsoka biased.
I love the chase scene across Coruscant and I like how Anakin's rebelliousness is shown to be rubbing off on Ahsoka in her defiance and deceitful actions.

I don't buy that explanation for one second. Sinube is a Jedi Master, and Ahsoka is a padawan. That relationship, by its nature, requires subordination from Ahsoka.

Imagine waltzing into work during your first day there and saying to your boss "Hey, I'm really looking forward to working here, but you'll need to earn my obedience and respect before I actually get any work done."

Also, this one gets a 7/10 for me.

Ahsoka reverting to early season 1 personality was a bit annoying, but Sinube at least partially made up for it.

I blame Plo from Ahsoka's disrespect towards other masters- he probably- perhaps unintentionally- (but anyway) taught her to be that arrogant since he definitely supports her behaviour as seen in Citadel Rescue.... every time Ahsoka did wrong - Plo came and saved her from responsibility that's why Ahsoka never learned to be humble and respectful.... Plo's fault whole thing....

7/10. I was luke-warm towards this one on my first viewing, but I liked it a little better on the rewatch. Sinube was an interesting new addition, he had shade of ESB Yoda, but was different from most of the Jedi we've seen so far in TCW. I also liked the underworld scenes: the ever present Weequay made me snort in amusement, but I like how they did the environments.

Like others I thought that Ahsoka's attitude was out of step with the way the character had matured (and IMO grown more likable) over the first part of season 2. One of the reasons why I'm not too fond of the constant timeline jumping.

    6/10.

Like some of the other "meh" episodes that have followed excellent episodes, this episode isn't helped by the fact that it's bookended by Grievous Intrigue/The Deserter and the Mando trilogy.

The detective aspect was relatively interesting I suppose, I always like seeing more of Coruscant.

Tera Sinube was a great addition, the cane saber was great, as was Palpatine's speech subtly critiquing the Jedi. That of course had to be highlighted by the OS because it's hard to make out in the show. ;)

The inconsistency/timeline-jumping with Ahsoka is annoying and grating to the viewer (at least, this viewer), as we've expected some degree of growth. As I previously mentioned, her lack of respect to an elderly Jedi I fear shows some insight into her true character, which is: I'm a great companion so long as things go the way I want them to. Part of that no doubt is being a teenager(?) and a Padawan, but for someone raised in the Temple to treat a Jedi Master (or any elderly being) with her flippant attitude shows the Dark Side could be in the future. [face_thinking]

Again, I have a hard time when Ahsoka seems possibly "overpowered" in many of the episodes and yet has difficulty with someone who is clearly an inexperienced criminal. Particularly with respect to the use of her lightsaber. They've done a great (read: sarcasm) job demystifying the lightsaber in TCW, that's for sure.

Kudos to the TCW team for at least implying a lesbian relationship (it's a little unclear), we definitely haven't seen that before, and I'm glad they don't beat us over the head with how "thoughtful" they are to do so; you would think in 2011 it wouldn't be an issue at all to have a lesbian couple in Star Wars.

    Where's LawJedi at, anyway? ;)

He actually defends them - it seems that jedi are generally blamed from flaming the war that actually makes jedi purge to look very logic suring the time of ROTS ordinary people were not too happy with the jedi so after they "betrayed" the republic hey easily became scapegoats and people were happy with jedipurge....

Nonsense. They've done no more de-mystifying of the lightsaber than when Han Solo fumbles around with one cutting open a Tauntaun.
Oh, but wait...that was Han Solo........................................................................

But Han literally grabs the saber and cuts a dead animal. That is it.

Swashbuckling - the whole point is that Palps is subtly reinforcing the idea of the Jedi being at fault simply by repeating it out loud. RespOnding to things sometimes makes it seem like there is a need to defend.

Uh... I though they were just friends? I mean, don't get me wrong (touchy subject, I don't want to start anything here!) -- but the two gals didn't really show any sign of being lesbians, aside from working together.
