Rank? Well that's all well and good. Perhaps there is or is not people you place above others. I would not hold anyone to love their spouse above their kids or their multiple kids ranked 1,2 and so on.

I don't love very many people, but if I did, I'd totally rank them.

He said "who", Arlol. Teddy bears, superheroes and fictional deities don't count. Has to be real.

Ender... geez, let it rest. I mean, I am not the most religious person either, but the way you jump down the throat of anybody who even mentions god or religion is pretty obnoxious. We. Get. It. You're becoming a ****ing caricature of yourself.

I rank who my closest friendships are, but not who I love the most. It's probably mostly identical though.

In the dream I had last night, I almost cried when I saw my little cousin/goddaughter, so I think she tops the list. And then some of my sisters.

Your statement is inaccurate, Edner. By that logic, one also could not select a deceased person, since they also no longer exist (anymore). The actual existence or lack thereof of the object of affection is immaterial to one's feelings about them. The only requirement, as the question has been phrased, is that it is a being with an individual consciousness, thus deserving of the term "who."
