TV Discussion Fisto's Disco: The LACWAC Social Thread

Dance and electronic is my favourite genre of music, my favourite dance and electronic artists are David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Knife Party, Swedish House Mafia, Rudimental, Avicii, Diplo, Afrojack and Steve Aoki. Here's a few of my favourites from last year

Wow, this is the stuff I like!

 

Yeah, about that... I know I'm ten years late compared to pretty much any American, but in my defense, Vienna does have one of the best public transportation systems, so you don't really need a car to get anywhere. And when something constricting does need to be transported places, there's always a cab... or my mom.
But thankfully that burden finally fell off her. In fact, I already took the wheel when I got picked up from the DMV. A 20 year old Nissan Micra Mouse, praised by everyone for going like a charm. I was getting worried I'd never get to drive it, but I finally did. Success!

 

Jordan1Kenobi you a fan of stuff like Datsik and Excision?

 

ImNotAStarWarsFanboy I've heard of them, but never really listened to them. They sound pretty good from what I just heard, I do like some heavy bass and dubstep. The fourth one is my favourite out of the five, good beat and it's a remix of Example who's one of my favourite artists

Uh, why isn't the Grade the Episode up for Shades of Reason? Lawless has already aired.

Guys, Seerow needs help, she can't run this place all by herself. If this keeps up she's going to end up totally burned out on this place, and we'll need yet another mod.

We need a mod to take the busy work off Seerow's hands, just someone to come in and put up the episode threads and the Grade the Episodes.

4chan dude does make some good points...

 

I suggest a battle till the death, to be honest.

 

Well...

-Caesar was a dick...

-... and speaking of dicks, he had his personal slave cut his own dick.

-The Rebellion is developed more in this episode. Once they start capturing a city(primarily for food and shelter), they begin killing everyone in sight, even the innocents. They seem more interested in vengeance than taking over Rome and ending slavery. So, yeah, shades of grey.

-Tiberius is still an annoying ****.

-Crassus really doesn't care about his family. He talks badly about his own son behind his back(which is justified) and has a secret affair with one of his slaves, despite being married. So while he's certainly not arrogant and a lot more intelligent compared to the previous villains in the series, he's very morally flawed.

-One man gets speared in the mouth after attempting to burn the captured city's grain supply. Me gusta...



Final Thoughts: Overall, the episode was exceptional and its good that the writers are portraying the rebellion in a more balanced light. Who knows, maybe I'll even be rooting for the Romans by the end of the series?
