I still think characters such as Tikkes, General Veers, Prince Xizor and Nom Anor live.
We did not see them die on screen (well, I mean in novels and comics), so they could always come back.
Lucasfilm has established characters such as Xizor died, did they?

Which characters that are supposed to be dead do you think will come back in the future?
Which characters that are supposed to be dead would you like to come back?
    Any further examples?
    Thoughts?

Not that I am advocating the survival of loads of characters but just some thoughts on possible people:

Perhaps Nil Spaar? Mind you, I think he pretty much died but I could easily see that being reversed though there really is no place for the character. We are of course presuming he died after being launched in an escape pod into hyperspace... means he would die from the lack of food, lifesupport and everything else since he got trapped there. Unless for some reason the pod managed to re-enter normal space and landed by an inhabitable world.

I think a goof up in the Jedi Academy campaign book also made it seem that Irek Ismaren aka Lord Nyax somehow survived his demise on Coruscant.

Separatist Admiral Trench had the reputation of seemingly surviving death. Yularen thought he killed him before though I am not sure how he would survived his last demise.

IG-88 is believed to be dead since he transferred his programming to the Deathstar II when it was destroyed. His body was left behind and it got reprogrammed by the Thul family to serve as a bodyguard. Wouldn't be surprised if there was some program that allowed IG-88 to be restored since he did leave a lot of embedded programming for his droid rebellion.

Those are the ones I could see off the top of my head that could or managed to cheat the grim reaper.

San Hill lives in death! (cookiee for anyone who sees what I have done there)

On Plagueis, one of the initial story drafts for The Force Unleashed involved Starkiller meeting Plagueis I think. Can't remember if that was going to be as a Force Ghost or a living one but this was a non-Muun Plagueis.

Who the hell is Tikkes and why would anyone want him to come back to life?

So when will they give us the retcon that Muuns change into humans after their first death?

I can't really think of any that haven't already been mentioned, Nil Spaar being my favorite so far.

But I hope this thread really takes off, I love crazy fan theories.

The Mayor of Sernpidal. No way Rhett would have died like that.

He didn't go to Mustafar in ROTS so he's alive.

Grievous got Sifo-Dyas' blood, so I'm pretty sure he's dead.:p

His blood is still alive in Grievous though.

Sifo-Dyas had a little blood left, and was kept in stasis, allowing him to recover. Eventually his body will be found and he will be brought out of stasis.

    Boom, back.

I'd like to see Grievous still be alive through reincarnation since the Kaleesh believe it happens.

Prince Xizor. Early on in Fate of the Jedi it set up the possibility, with Jaden Korr mentioned in a book or two as investigating rumors that Xizor was alive, or that Black Sun had cloned him. Of course, that went no where.

IIRC, Perry wrote Xizor's death in the mindset that he'd likely return in the future. Hence the awkward pause there between Vader's communication with him and the moment the skyhook blows.
