I wonder who the Agluks are? The Darkhorse page says they are the Ewoks rivals, but I have never heard of them before. Have they ever appeared in anything else before or are they something new?

:D I usually wait for the omnibuses, but I think I may need to go out to a store and buy this one. And get the author to sign it. And shake his hand.

The Clone Wars UK comic recently gave us an earlier Battle of Hoth, so the decommissioned ice suits Pfilbee Jhorn mentioned could have easily been from that period instead. This would allow us to keep the reference but push Jhorn's expedition back to immediately after ANH. (Or even earlier if there's no reference to the Death Star being destroyed in Illustrated Universe or the RPG short fiction that preceded it.)

This allows a somewhat longer period of time for the Ewok movies to take place. Still problematic are the Ewok books, cartoons and comics, which never got a proper timeline placement--they were just lumped in at 3 ABY even though the seasonal changes dictate a longer period of time. I suspect they'll need to be placed before ANH now. The Death Star Video Board Game also needs to be taken into account; it probably occurs around six months after Yavin instead of shortly after TESB, as had previously been believed.

    This.

Also, there's obviously a solution to why we don't see the DS2 in the Ewok movies but can see Endor and why we can't see Endor but can see the DS2 in ROTJ: The Forest Moon is tidal locked. We just had the wrong celestial body name this whole time... ;)

Well, there was also another "Battle of Hoth" in 0 BBY. That would also be the one we see in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue (no official source ever said so, but that would be the most intelligent thing to do, since Star Tours II obviously occurs between 1 and 0 BBY).

They should have a comic where Baobab and Lando team up on wacky business adventures where they pick up all the chicks.

Sweet Sauce, since they changed their website I haven't really visited the Star Wars homepage thus I forgot what they all had on there.

If Logray is in this, I wonder what he will look like? He looks totally different in the Ewoks movies than he did in Return of the Jedi, and then for the cartoon he was given a long beard and a blue cloak. I'm hoping this comic will make him a mixture of all three designs.

Hmm. Star Wars: In the Shadow of Yavin, now Ewoks: Shadows of Endor . . . can Darth Vader and the Shadow of Hoth be far behind?

These little digest comics are hit & miss. But as a devout Ewoks fan I can't miss this!

Are you sure that's Logray? If it is, he has an entirely new look. I was thinking that the Ewok on the left looked more like Paploo.

Paploo has brown fur in both the movies and the TV series, but that Ewok on the left bears the striped fur of Logray in ROTJ. However, the Ewok shaman normally wears a churi bird skull as a hat. In this case, it looks porcine.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that's Teebo with the slingshot. It looks like they went with the AS/Marvel look as opposed to RotJ. Compare:

You can even see a little of the cartoon Teebo's forelock in the new version. Guess we'll have to wait & see. Man, whoever thought we'd be getting new Ewoks stuff?!?! It's been like nonstop fan-service since Darth Plagueis!
