It's not new since it's been posted before, but it's nice to see it again. It's kinda hard to believe we're getting an arc with Yoda as the main character.

fixed. I don't see anything surprising about Yoda being the main character.

Well, I was referring to the fact that none of the highest ranking members on the council have been the central main character in an arc up until this one so in a way, it's a bit unique (and Yoda's backstory getting touched upon is definitely quite unique, I can give you that).

If they tell us his species, I might go insane... at this point, I no longer want to know.

Yeah, I'm pretty used to seeing "Yoda's species" on the Wook.

Well no one knows what species Yoda is, not even Lucas knows :p, if they come up with one, it has to be badass

I thought Lucas specifically said that we weren't going to know.

Unless Disney decides to make **** up against Lucas' wishes, we won't know.

I can picture it already, Baron Papanoida shows up and tells Yoda that his mother is ill...

Raises the question of what age Yoda's species usually gives birth at.

Why does Yoda get to go all Zen with the barefoot approach, when most other Jedi get stuck in boots n shoes?

I don't think anything coming up with TCW will have been ordered by Disney  All the arcs were in production and practically completed before Lucas and Disney made a deal. Anything that is revealed in any upcoming TCW arcs, will have been Lucas' idea, not Disney's.

The question of Yoda's species and Lucas' response to that question were established before TCW was even a blip on Lucas' radar.

If he changes his mind about this one I'll be shocked, as to my knowledge he said during the time of the OT that we would not know Yoda's species and has not gone back on that statement in spite of repeated requests.

I actually don't know where the info of this Yoda arc dealing with some of Yoda's backstory has come from anyway? Anyone know? If it was said at Disney Opening Weekends where the clip was shown and said by someone involved in the arc then it would make it credible that Lucas has partially gone back on his word but probably won't reveal everything.

I am getting very curious about Yoda's mission and how it ties together with the discovery of Sifo-Dyas' lightsaber (?) in the greater arc. Knowing TCW's propensity for heavily referencing the films, I think there's a good chance we might see Dagobah and an explanation as to why Yoda chose to hide there (besides the fact that its strong Dark Side presence masked Yoda's Force signature). Knowing that Christian Taylor wrote the Mortis arc as well, there is an excellent possibility that this arc will explore the more mystical aspects of the Force that was largely alluded to in TESB, when Yoda was training Luke. I also wonder if there is a possibility that we might learn more about the Whills, as darklordoftech indirectly suggested.
