OK, had a bit of time so here is the rough draft of our roster. I am sure there are some errors or possibly even some characters left out or even included when they shouldn't be anymore out so read through this and let me know what needs to get added/fixed. For Guardian Squadron, I left characters with their own fighters (ones listed on your Character Sheet) where applicable. I may have missed some there so let me know if a fighter needs to be added. For those with ships too big for the Johnny Boy or not considered fighters your character will be assigned an X-Wing for flight duty. The rest of this is pretty self explanatory I think, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Most of the legwork was done long ago by Bravo, I just updated it with the current crop of characters and re-populated the squadron.

 

When it becomes official, after some small edits, I will probably have it appear on my character's and npc's Merc' datapads within the game.

Good post, Skywalker_T-65, I do like characters mentioning the move from private individual to part of a group.

 

I've got some work stuff I'm doing. Currently working the St.Jude Classic PGA golf tournament. If you watch it tomorrow on the Golf Chanel I'm the biggest guy on the 17th hole in a Purple shirt.

Ooh, well, have fun.

I won't be watching much of it, if any, however, this hotel's internet access is in the "Sports Bar", so if the sports television blaring in my ear happens to be tuned in to that, and the 17th hole is being shown at the time, I shall indeed look out for your good self.

I have a low attention span when it comes to Kingdom of Jod-centric posts not written by me, so, in ten words, feth it, twenty words or less, how did He and Master Zat become sworn enemies, and won't that pose a security problem when they are both on the Johnny Boy as jedi liaisons?

Sworn enemies I think refers to either the new Jod leaders, or that the new leaders ordered He to kill/remove Master Zat. So officially enemies, but truthfully working together in exile.

 

What Mitth said. I'll have to dig up the post I wrote a long time ago on it, but while "He" is sworn to kill Zat by Order of the Church, the Royal House has ordered He to protect Zat at all costs by a Royal Order. Its a dedicate balance between powers, one I tried to take from various historical events throughout the past on Earth. He's the break down in summary version:

• Zat, running from Order 66 at the end of the Clone Wars, runs to safety with the Jod (through secret files Yoda had on the Jod, which I still need to explain IC); 19 BBY
  • Zat becomes a prominent leader and member of the Jod Church, which has had strong ties with the Jedi Order since the Red Rock Kingdom in 25,000 BBY

• Zat and a handful of Jod respond to a mysterious distress beacon in the Open Sea (which is just outside the "secret" worm hole leading directly to the Kingdom of Jod); 18 BBY
  • "He" and a handful of other warriors are protecting what remains of their civilians from their home world; a blind hyperspace jump lead them from the Unknown Regions to the Open Sea

• He and his fellow survivors come to the home Planet of Jod where, with several other Jedi and Jod Church Members, the Kingdom of Jod's "Elite" are formed from the warrior sof the group (the civilians become part of the Jod civilization), an elite branch of military operatives whose sole goal is to serve the interests of the Force and the Prophecy as foretold by the Jod Church. To prevent the Church from overpowering the government, the Elite swear loyalty to both the Jod Church and the Royal House; while the religious devotion of "He" and his followers create an unbreakable loyalty to the Jod Church, it is the Royal House that they can override any "Order of the Church". Zat, a passionate Jedi Master wanting to see justice brought back to the galaxy and the Jedi Order restored "by any means necessary" becomes the Leader of the Elite or, more commonly, known as the "Master". 17 BBY

• With the Royal House preoccupied with the Prophecy after Order 66, the Church of Jod with the handful of Jedi survivors work tirelessly with the new Elite to rescue as many Jedi as possible from the "Outside Galaxy". While many Jedi are indeed saved, darker---more sensitive missions---are kept from the other Jedi as Zat and the leaders of the Church send the Elite on deadly, top-secret missions, to dismantle the Imperial war machine in bloody fashion. The other Jedi, certainty, would not approve. But, with the galaxy at stake, "all measures" are being taken to ensure the survival of the Jedi and the protection---and secrecy---of the Kingdom of Jod. 17-12 BBY

• The Royal House, sensing that the Jod Church was growing too powerful---too secretive in it's more "Prophecy" driven operations---issues an Royal Order that puts the Elite under the Royal Palace's Royal Command, thereby officially putting government oversight over the Elite's actions. Despite this, the Jod Church still has the loyalty of the Elite by decree of the founding of the organization and many missions are undertaken without Royal Command approval or knowledge, both out of the Kingdom Jod and inside the Kingdom of Jod, where "enemies of the State" are hunted down and "silenced" by the Elite. And even more-so, the secret agenda of power-hungry clergy have already been set in place; the "Power of God" is now in the hands or corrupt men and women who have the religious devotion of the people and the bloody hands of the Elite. The Jod Church is in a prime position as other powers, darker powers, move within the Nobles and Royal Court. The Elite have now become a tool of corruption through the religiously devoted. 12 BBY

• Zat, becoming disinterested and concerned with the increasingly political and private interests of the Jod Church, speaks out against the direction of the Church. The once untouchable Leader of the Elite has now been branded a traitor and accused of heresy by the Jod Church. Zat now runs for his life, although is aided by certain elements of the House of Royal Intelligence under sealed Royal Orders from the Royal House itself. Elite are ordered, by the church, to kill Zat on site; because the Jedi is accused of heresy by the highest religious being in the Jod Church, such a religious order cannot be revoked by the Royal Palace or the Royal House. 3 BBY

• The Royal House finally has a way around the high crime of heresy; by Royal Order, Zat is "captured" by the Royal Palace's elite Queen's Guardsmen and made a Servant-Solider of the Royal House. Bound by blood oath to the Royal House dating back to the ancients of ancient traditions in the Red Rock Kingdom, Zat is made the Personal Messenger of the King and Keeper of the Ancient Scrolls by the Royal House and the Royal House orders "He" himself, Zat's prized pupil and former student, to be his personal bodyguard. While hunted by the Elite, Zat is now immune to the Order of the Church for his death and has one of their own Elite now protecting him. Despite the Royal House's Royal Command, "He" is still a sworn enemy of Zat but, because of the Royal House's blood oath with Zat, is unable to touch a servant of the King and Royal House himself. 0 BBY

 

Although that was never quite resolved (yet), I know I would have had Winterkill suggest for the nurse/hostage to be extracted. She is an NPC handled by Bravo, so I don't know if he had other plans for her ( dramatic death/ escape/ etc ). I'm not sure how much say Winterkill would have regarding Connor Harrison. I'll mention it so we can at least decide on the outcome, for the sake of continuity.

Hey guys, managed to get a short post up to get the ball rolling again. Sorry for the timing, My laptop decided to give up on me earlier in the week and and had to put it in for repair.
